This masterpiece soundboard from the "Legendary Bomber" era, which shook the world, has been brushed up! It will be released as a 2-CD set with the highest quality sound! This work is engraved with the "July 6, 1979 West Palm Beach performance." It is a superb stereo soundboard recording. The "WORLD VACATION Tour 1979" accompanying "Legendary Bomber" was VAN HALEN's first headlining world tour, and the historic, superb soundboards "TUCSON 1979" and "OSAKA 1979 2ND NIGHT" are also very popular. This work is an upgrade of one of the "three major soundboards" that are on par with such superb albums. First, let's take a look at the relationship between the three major soundboards from an overview of their activities at the time. "Legendary Bomber" released on March 23rd. March 25th - June 10th: North America #1 (51 performances), June 14th - 29th: Europe (12 performances), July 5th - August 26th: North America #2 (31 performances) ←★COCO★, September 3rd - 13th: Japan (7 performances) ←※OSAKA 1979 2ND NIGHT, September 18th - October 7th: North America #3 (12 performances) ←※TUCSON 1979. December: "Dark Law" production begins. An exceptional soundboard with excellent stability despite being directly connected. This is the 1979 VAN HALEN. All three major soundboards have different legs, and this West Palm Beach performance was the second performance of "North America #2," the earliest of the two shows. It was a concert about two months before the Japan tour. The soundboard from this show was unearthed in 2021. What was most striking was the quality. It was a direct-connected mix deck system that prioritized rawness, but it also combined stability and excellent balance to create an incredible sound. For example, there are currently a series of newly excavated soundboards from the 1982 "HIDE YOUR SHEEP Tour," but those have missed recordings in places and the mix balance is sometimes disrupted. This work has almost no such wildness. Perhaps the quality of the on-site mix itself was high. The rawness is fully exposed, and the panning is blown out with incredible left-right width that is impossible in an official work, but that feeling persists throughout the full show without being disturbed. A top-of-the-line updated album, enhanced to a work-like feel by GRAF ZEPPELIN mastering. This was a truly shocking soundboard excavation, and this is its highest-level update. GRAF ZEPPELIN has refined the shocking 2021 master to a new pinnacle. "GRAF ZEPPELIN" mastering utilizes a variety of techniques, including pitch and phase correction and various noise processing techniques, to bring out the full potential of the original sound. However, the key point here is the "final quality." For example, by correcting the subtle phase shift that only occurred in the first half of the recording, the localization is stabilized, and even the most subtle noises are carefully removed one by one. Furthermore, the balance is meticulously adjusted after frequency analysis. The bass, which had been somewhat spoiled, is now robust (without sacrificing naturalness), and the original VAN HALEN ensemble is brought back to life with ultra-realism. This top-of-the-line sound is a condensed, reduced version of the band's two greatest albums, "The Fuse" and "The Legendary Bomber," creating a hard rock utopia that explodes with stage energy. While the set is already familiar, it's so spectacular that we'll show it again here. The album includes: "Fire of Fire" (8 tracks + α), "Runnin' With the Devil," "On Fire," "Jamies Cryin'," "Feel Your Love Tonight," "Ice Cream Man," "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," "You Really Got Me," and "Atomic Punk." The album also includes "Legendary Bomber" (7 tracks), "Light Up the Sky," "Somebody Get Me a Doctor," "Dance the Night Away," "Beautiful Girls," "You're No Good," "Outta Love Again," and "Bottoms Up!" While a full show like this is enough to fill you up, this release also includes bonus tracks to make it even more satisfying. These include "Dance the Night Away" and "Beautiful Girls" from rehearsals for the tour. While rehearsal recordings have been known for some time, this release is a master unearthed in conjunction with the main live performance, and like the main live performance, it is a top-notch updated version, mastered by "GRAF ZEPPELIN." A departure from their debut tour, which featured many opening acts, the "World Vacation Tour" showcased the Van Halen world as a dignified headliner. This ultra-exhilarating live album captures the full show with a transcendent sound that will immerse you in your brain. Recorded on a stereo soundboard from the July 6, 1979 West Palm Beach performance, this is a top-notch update, refining the master's mastery, which, while directly connected to the mix desk, is perfectly balanced. The stability has been further enhanced, and the somewhat spoiled bass has been strengthened (without compromising its natural feel). This is an absolutely ultra-exhilarating live album that will imprint the "World Vacation Tour"—a condensed version of the two masterpieces "The Fuse" and "The Legendary Bomber"—into your brain.
