From the early VAN HALEN, where abnormal new discoveries are occurring one after another, the first appearance soundboard album is born! The final performance of the tour will be released as a top-notch sound CD! The final performance is "San Diego performance on December 3, 1978". It is a super-class stereo soundboard recording. Our shop archives the historic debut tour with as many masterpieces as possible, and the soundboard album is especially popular. It's a good opportunity to organize the collection and take a bird's-eye view of the "Flame of Fire" era with a schedule.・January 27th + February 8th: Warm-up《February 10th: Release of "Flame Fuse"》・February 18th - April 28th: North America #1 (47 performances)←※WICHITA 1978・May 4th - 12th: Europe #1 (7 performances)・May 16th - June 10th: UK (20 performances)←※SBD trilogy・June 17th - 28th: Japan (9 performances)・July 1st - September 30th: North America #2 (54 performances・October 9th - 27th: Europe #2 (13 performances)・November 3rd - December 3rd: North America #3 (24 performances)←★Here★《December 11th: Production of "Legendary Bomber" begins》This is the 1978 VAN HALEN that brought a revolutionary wave to the whole world. The opening "WICHITA 1978" and "DEFINITIVE The British trilogy, led by "HAMMERSMITH 1978," has been loved, but this work is the final performance of "North America #3," which returned to the home country after those. What came out of the show, which had not even been known for audience recording until now, was a shocking sound board. It was not a broadcast type but a completely direct mix table system, and the performance sound for the on-site PA was blown out of the speaker unprocessed / unedited. The rawness without any hesitation was intense, and even the vibration of a single string and the skin of the drum was transmitted to the skin. Moreover, this work is also the highest peak. The original sound that appeared on the net was a bit sloppy. Although it was recorded with a sense of touch, this work is clear and vivid. Each range was adjusted after band analysis, and the contours were sharp and the cut was improved. Of course, it would be pointless to distort the precious record by making sound pressure indiscriminately, but there is no need to worry about this work. While attacking the line just before distortion, it brings out the best of the sound board. Such a shocking sound board depicts the live performance on the final day that the whole world knows for the first time. It seems that it was recorded only on the A side of the 90-minute tape, so I don't know until the encore, but in the first place, this day was BLACK Since it was an opening act for SABBATH, it was a short set. Among the four soundboard works mentioned above, it was the second longest after "DEFINITIVE HAMMERSMITH 1978". Let's check out the contents of the set here. Fixed songs (7 songs + α) ・On Fire / I'm The One / Runnin' With The Devil / Atomic Punk / Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love / Eruption / You Really Got Me ・Other: Bass solo / Drum solo Songs not heard in the British SBD trilogy ・Jamie's Cryin' (★) / Ice Cream Man *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that was not included in the soundboard masterpiece "WICHITA 1978". ...And so it is. All songs are selected from "Fire Fuse" and there are no "Legendary Bomber" numbers. Instead (?), there is "Jamie's "Cryin'" is also shown. Combined with the band's potential only in 1978, it is also the closest to the "live performance version of the fuse of the flame". VAN HALEN's debut was the biggest revolution in the long history of rock. This is a shocking soundboard album that will imprint its final destination in your brain. A shocking cultural heritage that has appeared over 47 years of time and space. The first appearance stereo soundboard recording of the "San Diego performance on December 3, 1978". This is the highest peak version that has been polished with meticulous mastering of the shock master that was released very recently. It is completely directly connected to the mix table, and the performance sound for the on-site PA comes out of the speaker with the bare bones. It is the closest to the "live performance version of the fuse of the flame" that also shows "Jamie's Cryin'", which is not included in the conventional "WICHITA 1978" or the British soundboard trilogy.
