The "HIDE YOUR SHEEP Tour" debuted in 2026 as a new soundboard series. The latest titles will be released simultaneously! This work is the second of two simultaneous releases. It's a stereo soundboard recording of the "September 15, 1982, Daily City Performance (Day 2)." As you may have already noticed, this work is a sister work to the simultaneously released "SAN FRANCISCO 1982 1ST NIGHT SOUNDBOARD," which was held the day after the concert at the same venue...no, they're twin works. The tour situation at the time and the newly discovered series, the largest soundboard collection in rock history in terms of both quality and quantity, will be explained in the commentary on its sister work, "1ST NIGHT." Here, in order to organize the collection, let's take a look at the 1982 soundboard titles excavated so far. "North America #1" leg (8 works) - July 24th "BILOXI 1982" - July 30th "LOUISVILLE 1982" - July 31st "FORT WAYNE 1982" - August 3rd "ROCKFORD 1982" - August 6th "ST. LOUIS 1982" - August 10th "ST. PAUL" 1982”・August 13th “DETROIT 1982 1ST NIGHT”・August 21st “CLEVELAND 1982” “North America #2” leg (4 works)・September 7th “PHOENIX 1982・September 11th “L.A. FORUM 1982 3RD NIGHT” *September 14th “SAN FRANCISCO 1982 1ST NIGHT" *September 15th: San Francisco performance ←★This work★ "North America #3" leg (3 works): October 22nd "WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT", October 24th "WORCESTER 1982 3RD NIGHT", October 26th "TORONTO 1982" - a total of 15 works. This work is the fourth work of "North America #2" and is also the third consecutive performance following "L.A. FORUM 1982 3RD NIGHT SOUNDBOARD" and its sister work "1ST NIGHT". This work is a new masterpiece that reveals a show that has never been recorded in audiences before. Of course, this is not just a first appearance, but the sound is of the highest quality, leaked from the mix desk. As usual, it was recorded directly from the mix desk by engineer "Roy" at the time, and the sound image is extremely thick and vivid. Despite the rough balance of the PA system, the separation of each instrument is outstanding, and the energy of the performance and the excitement of the venue flow directly into your brain. Performances, fights, and the final performance... A must-listen night full of highlights. While the sound quality will be familiar to those familiar with the previous series, the key to this album lies in the show itself. The band was clearly in high spirits that night, with a higher level of energy throughout, and the performance exuded a sense of ease and playfulness. For example, in the opening track "Romeo Delight," Dave sings the same "feel my heartbeat..." line as in the studio version during the break, a highly unusual moment on this tour. The mid-track track "Little Guitars" is interesting in a different way. From the middle of the track, Eddie's guitar clearly began to malfunction, sounding out of tune. It appears he continued playing despite string trouble, capturing a sense of precariousness not usually heard. Furthermore, during "Cathedral," Eddie's performance was suddenly interrupted for a few seconds by a powerful reverb sound. According to a witness who witnessed the incident, an orange thrown from the audience apparently hit the guitar strings directly. Eddie reportedly raised both hands to incite the crowd, a truly lively occurrence. During "Everybody Wants Some," the atmosphere became somewhat turbulent just before the usual talk segment. A voice on the microphone was heard saying "crazy mother fucker," to which Dave replied, "look at this mother fucker's eyes." Vivid remarks were made, and even during the usual girl talk, an extremely edgy "I'm going to throw your ass in the audience" was heard. With no detailed testimony or video footage, the truth of the matter remains unknown, but the extraordinary atmosphere is conveyed directly to the brain through the soundboard. The second half is also packed with highlights. During the jam of "Somebody Get Me A Doctor," Dave let out a barrage of strange screams and shouts, completely throwing the band into a frenzy. Then, during the break of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," Eddie inserted a unique phrase reminiscent of "Cathedral." What makes this show even more historic is "D.O.A.", which was actually the band's last live performance that day. While it's hard to say for sure because there were days without recordings, this is the last recorded sound. Just when you think they're in top form, they make overzealous mistakes, a confrontational, unsettling atmosphere flows, and even the historic "D.O.A." pops out. While the rush of discovery can easily make you numb to the superb quality, this album is more about the live performance itself than the direct sound. This is a new masterpiece that will etch that miraculous night into your mind. This is the first-ever stereo soundboard recording of the "Daily City Performance (Day 2) on September 15, 1982." The recording was made directly from the mixing desk by a man named "Roy," who was the engineer at the time. The live performance itself is top-notch, with some over-the-top mistakes, a belligerent, unsettling atmosphere, and even the historic "D.O.A." popping up. This is an exceptionally interesting and must-listen piece in the series. Cow Palace, Daly City, CA, USA 15th September 1982 STEREO SBDDisc:1 (53:02) 1. Intro 2. Romeo Delight 3. Unchained 4.
