Following the shocking debut tour, the "WORLD VACATION Tour" swept the world as a headliner. The master tape of the legendary recording, famous as its masterpiece, has been unexpectedly unearthed! The "March 25, 1979 Fresno performance" is permanently preserved in this work. It is a super-excellent audience recording. This recording is a legend in itself. It boasts a completely soundboard-class sound that can be likened to an official work, and the show itself is a super rare set called the "legendary live performance bomber". It is a classic that has been loved for a long time and widely because of its tremendous content, but this work is finally unearthed as the original master. If you have experienced some kind of existing release, I think you have already made up your mind, but for those who have not, let me explain it from scratch. First of all, from the position of the show... {"Legendary Bomber" released on March 23} ・March 25-June 10: North America #1 (51 performances) ←★Here★ ・June 14-29: Europe (12 performances) ・July 5-August 26: North America #2 (31 performances) ←※WEST PALM BEACH 1979 ・September 3-13: Japan (7 performances) ←※OSAKA 1979 2ND NIGHT ・September 18-October 7: North America #3 (12 performances) ←※TUCSON 1979 {December "Dark Rule" production begins} The original master of the legendary recording is a new discovery This is VAN HALEN in 1979. For reference, the representative works of each leg are also listed, but the Fresno performance of this work is earlier than any of them. It was the first day of the "WORLD VACATION Tour" rather than the "North America #1" concert. Such a show is famous for the super famous recordings that were left behind. As mentioned at the beginning, it was a complete sound board-class masterpiece that made the brain bug out, saying "Where is the audience in this!?" However, even in the previous edition "Shades 474", which was the highest peak so far, the 1st generation. This work is a newly excavated master brought by our own route, which is different from that, and is the original that broke through the conventional limits. In fact, it includes parts that were not already released, such as "Feel Your Love Tonight" and the inter-songs after "Ice Cream Man", and the whole is recorded for about 1 minute 20 seconds longer. However, that is just proof of the original. The important thing is that the sound that runs through the whole thing has also been upgraded. There was no problem because it was originally a sound that could be likened to an official work, but it is surprising that it has really improved by comparison. The biggest difference is the hiss and the natural feeling. Now that I know the new master, I listened back to it, and the conventional master had a high-pitched hiss. It wasn't a particularly harsh noise, so I didn't think it was a flaw, but in fact the hiss made the performance sound itself sound tingly and the vocals sounded sharp. However, this time there is almost no such thing. The performance sound roars naturally, and the vocals are smooth. Until now, it was thought that "this kind of sound was heard on the spot," but the original master had an even more beautiful "true on-site sound." The "legendary bomber of live performance" that only happens once in the entire history of VH Such a master sound depicts a full show that has been called the "legendary bomber of live performance." In order to explain what that means, let's organize the set contents here. Fuse of Fire (6 songs) Runnin' With The Devil / On Fire / Feel Your Love Tonight / Ice Cream Man / Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love / You Really Got Me Legendary Bomber (8 songs + α) Light Up The Sky (★) / Somebody Get Me A Doctor / Dance The Night Away (★) / Beautiful Girls (★) / You're No Good (★) / Outta Love Again (★) / Spanish Fly / D.O.A. / Bottoms Up! *Note: The "★" mark indicates the world premiere or the oldest live performance. ... and so on. There are plenty of premieres because it is the first day of the tour, but the point is the selection. All songs from "Legendary Bomber" except "Women in Love....." are played (the guitar solo was also based on "Spanish Fly" instead of "Eruption"). Although it looks like it's full of classic songs, in fact, "9 out of 10 songs from the 2nd album" were only performed once on this day. In detail, the key point is that the three songs "D.O.A.", "You're No Good" and "Outta Love Again" are all available. "D.O.A." has been performed since 1978, but only once on the first day (this work) in 1979. On the other hand, "You're No Good" and "Outta Love Again" are rare songs from the "Legendary Bomber" era, and "You're No Good" in particular is a limited song that was only performed in 1979 (by the way, "Women in Love....", which cannot be heard in this work, premiered in 1980, so the full performance of the 2nd has not been realized). I never thought that the original master of the famous recording, which was the "legend of the early VAN HALEN collection", would be unearthed. The conventional master is not a completely different thing because it is super-excellent, but it is definitely this work that is at the "extreme" level. A true cultural heritage album that must be passed down forever. A superb audience recording of the "March 25, 1979 Fresno performance". A legendary recording that can be likened to an official work, a newly excavated master. There is less high-pitched hiss than the conventional version, which improves the natural feeling of the performance sound and vocals. This is the only live performance in history where nine songs from "Legendary Bomber" are played, and it is a true cultural heritage album that allows you to enjoy the full show called "the second album of live performance" with the highest peak updated sound.
