The legendary music program "THE SHOW" that was broadcast on the American local TV station PBS in 1970 has been released directly on DVD, with footage that was only released in limited release in recent years due to the discovery of an archive master. First of all, this is a music program that was produced and broadcast from the fall of 1969 after Woodstock, and it introduced 29 artists and singers who were popular at the time, based on live performances, and musicians who reflected the era of rock, folk, soul & blues, etc. were featured one after another. Although the image quality of the program is still analog, there is no deterioration or noise due to the original master, and it is recorded in master quality that sets it apart from some of the online videos that are in circulation. The lineup for the first album starts with GFR, who had just made their debut, followed by 22-year-old James Taylor, Mountain led by Leslie West, Zephyr with Tommy Bolin, the Amboy Dukes with Ted Nugent playing their fill, Iron Butterfly and other rock acts, as well as mellow folk acts by Phil Ochs and Tom Rush, and even blues/soul and country. The album is a must-see for old fans, as it features live performances by a rare lineup of artists from the early days of American rock. The album is 4 hours and 9 minutes long. from WITF-TV (PBS), Hersey, Pennsylvania, USA: Broadcast in 1970 : PRO-SHOT COLOUR NTSC Approx.249min.(Total) Disc 1 : 1.
