The 2025 "PICTURES OF DESTINY" tour, featuring strings, included five shows in Japan, including the third show at Nagoya Bottom Line on August 26th. This full recording, featuring 2 hours and 27 minutes, was taken from the original audience master released by Taper. This performance, his first in six years, features a symphonic set featuring five strings, kicking off with tracks from his "Prologue: Legend of the Sky" EP, followed by Mozart-related tracks like "Amadeus" and "Queen of the Night," the recent classic "The Cry," and new tracks like "Caber Dreams" and "Spirit of Heart." Part two was a rock set that incorporated a significant amount of Scorpions material, including his late brother Zeno's "Don't Tell the Wind" and familiar Jimi Hendrix tracks. Other tracks included a classical new number, the moving "Enola Gay (Hiroshima Today?)," "The Sails of Charon," and the legendary "Requiem for an Angel." The set also featured a performance of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing," which wasn't played at the Osaka or Hiroshima shows, making this a must-see Japan-only limited edition memorial item.
