From the US leg of the 1987 Joshua Tree Tour, the first day of the 28th performance at MSG in New York was recorded in master quality and soundboard audio leaked by a related party. As a highlight of the third leg of the North American tour, this MSG performance is famous for being one of the best performances, and the 28th performance is famous for being a rare set list performance with guests. Therefore, the content is different from usual, with the opening SE featuring John Lennon's song "Where the Streets Have No Name", a ballad version of "Help!", and two surprises in the encore, first the local gospel chorus New Voice of Freedom appeared and performed a special live version of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", and then played the same song twice. The second release includes a live version of the rare B-side single "Spanish Eyes," and unlike the documentary "Rattle & Hum" which was made into a film, this is a complete recording of one concert, so it is an official quality recording of the most representative live performance of the tour.
