U2 in 1981 had yet to break through, but they were challenging the world. Here is a soundboard album that will let you experience their live performance like a young warrior. This work is engraved with the "December 13, 1981 Reedo Beach performance". This is a stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of U2 in 1981, it was the time when the "BOY Tour" and "OCTOBER Tour" intersected, and this work is the latter. And speaking of the soundboard of the OCTOBER Tour, there are many masterpieces such as the masterpiece "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981", "BOSTON 1981 PRE-FM", and "THE RITZ 1982 1ST NIGHT". This is a good opportunity, so let's first check the position of each in the tour schedule. 1981 August 16-September 2: Europe #1 (6 performances) October 12th "OCTOBER" released October 1-November 4: Europe #2 (29 performances) ←※ PARADISO, AMSTERDAM 1981 November 13-December 13: North America #1 (23 performances) ★ Here ★ December 20th + 21st: London (2 performances) 1982 January 23-26: Ireland (3 performances) February 11th-March 30th: North America #2 (32 performances) ←※ THE RITZ 1982 September-November "WAR" production December 1st-24th: Europe #3 (20 performances) This is the whole picture of the "OCTOBER Tour". The Reedo Beach performance of this work corresponds to the "North America #1" leg, but this was also a soundboard mass production area. Let's zoom in on the schedule further. November 13: Albany performance November 14 "BOSTON 1981 PRE-FM" November 15-25 (8 performances) November 28 "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981" November 29-December 12 (11 performances) December 13: Reedo Beach performance ←★ Here ★ This is all 23 performances of "North America # 1". The Reedo Beach performance was the last day, and it was about two weeks after the press masterpiece "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981". This show is also known for being broadcast on the radio station "WLIR" and has been counted as one of the classics. This work updates the highest peak of the FM sound board. Recently, under the supervision of overseas U2 researchers, our shop has archived the soundboard sound source of "WAR Tour" with the highest peak master, and this work is the "OCTOBER Tour" edition. In fact, the sound that flows out of this work is the official class sound that updates the highest ever. However, it is different in taste from "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981", and is characterized by a thick and rich sound. "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981" was a direct feeling with a clear and sharp edge, but this work is a type where the thick core approaches with force. The rhythm section is particularly wonderful. Adam's bass roars and the series creates a thick groove. If you compare it visually, each grain of the rough attack sound is like a black shiny ball, and the groove that they are connected is like a thick rosary. Larry's drumming, which is involved in it, is so three-dimensional that you can see the structure of the kit. You might imagine that only the rhythm section has a head-top sound up to this point, but that's not the case, which is why this work is great. Edge's guitar and Bono's singing voice are thick and fat without losing to the beat like a rough rope. All four of them come at you layered without losing balance, accompanied by dynamism enhanced by the thickness of the sound. And despite such a powerful "push" sound, there is no vibration or distortion at the peak. Such a fat sound is drawn, a long full show that surpasses "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981". Let's organize it while comparing it here. Boy (8 songs + α) Another Time, Another Place / The Cry-The Electric Co. / I Will Follow / An Cat Dubh (★) / Into the Heart (★) / Out of Control / Twilight / The Ocean (★) Others (7 songs) Irish October: Gloria / I Threw a Brick Through a Window / Rejoice / With A Shout (★) / I Fall Down / October (★) Single: 11 O'clock Tick Tock (★) *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that were not heard on "HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM 1981". ...And so on. This is the best of the early days, a concentrated version of "BOY" and "OCTOBER". "I Threw a Brick Through a Window" and "I Fall Down", which are no longer available today, are also delicious, but the best are "Rejoice" and "With A Shout", which are limited songs that can only be heard on the "OCTOBER Tour" and will never be heard again. Also, the previous work "Another Time, Another Place" is a delicious song that has not been played since this tour. And the ensemble that spins such a set is also wonderful. As mentioned above, this show is the last day of "North America # 1". The performance that realized the response to conquering the United States is full of confidence, and because it is the last day, there is no need to worry about tomorrow's condition. The goodness of the guts creates a burst of momentum, and every song is lively. A master collection of U2 researchers who received great acclaim at the "WAR Tour". This is a masterpiece that will be the "OCTOBER Tour" edition. Stereo soundboard recording of "Reedo Beach performance on December 13, 1981". It is the highest peak master ever supervised by a U2 researcher, and the thick and rich sound is wonderful. In particular, Adam's bass roars and the way that the series creates a very thick groove is like a thick rosary. Of course, not only the bass but also Edge's guitar and Bono's singing voice are thick and fat without losing to the beat like a rough rope. All four members have a dynamic sound enhanced by the thickness of the sound, and you can enjoy a full show full of precious songs such as "Rejoice", "With A Shout", and "Another Time, Another Place".
