This 2CD set contains a complete recording of the live performance at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on October 9th, master quality and soundboard audio, from the North American tour after the release of Joshua Tree in 1987. This is the third leg of the North American tour after the release of the album, which was their first to top the charts in the UK and US. The set is of course centered around album numbers, but also includes some of their past hits, and the point is that some of the set content has changed from the first leg in the spring. There are also numbers that pay tribute to the band included here and there, and on this day, MJ's "Bad" and even Yes' "Love Will Find A Way" were inserted, making it the only day they performed Yes songs during the entire tour, so be sure to check it out. Furthermore, any issues with the master that had been in circulation up until now have been restored as much as possible, and the latest digital remastering has been applied, making this the definitive recording of the day.
