U2 U2/NJ,USA 5.15.1987

This is a complete recording of the fourth performance on May 15th, out of the five performances at the Brendan Byrne Arena in New Jersey, from the first leg of the 1987 "Joshua Tree Tour" US, using official quality soundboard recordings leaked by those involved. First of all, there was shooting for the documentary "Rattle & Hum," which later became a movie, so on this day, 23 songs were played, the most of the five days. In addition to the long intro of the opening "Where The Streets Have No Name", "Springhill Mining Disaster", "Mothers Of The Disappeared", and other songs unique to that time, "Exit" includes the Doors' "Riders on the Storm", Dylan's "Maggie's Farm" includes John's "Cold Turkey" and Alice Cooper's "Schools Out", and "Bad" includes the Stones' "Ruby Tuesday" and "Sympathy For the Devil". Also, on this day, the flow from "October" to "Springhill Mining Disaster" and then to "New Year's Day" was goosebumps. In addition, "I Will Follow", "In God's Country", and "Sunday Bloody Sunday", which had defects on the master tape, were connected seamlessly through exquisite editing, making this the definitive version of this performance.
