U2's new album "SONGS OF EXPERIENCE" has finally been released and has reached No. 1 in the US. This is their 8th album to reach No. 1 in the US, the first time in history that the group has achieved this feat. Their latest super-excellent professional shot is now available. This work was recorded at "Abbey Road Studios on November 16, 2017". This is the special program "U2 AT THE BBC" that accompanied the release of the new work. U2 was on the 30th anniversary tour of "THE JOSHUA TREE" until October this year, but in November of the following year, they are in new mode. They are currently appearing on TV and events to promote their new work, and are doing secret acoustic gigs. Most of them are small-scale with only a few songs, but this studio live was the largest of them all. First of all, let's check the position of this work in the live schedule to date. Not only is it the latest broadcast, but the image quality and sound quality are of course fully digital, and the camerawork and direction are full of aesthetics that seem to be the prestige of the prestigious BBC. From Bono's appearance heading to the studio, to the slight shadows on the members' faces, to the simple yet elegant set, everything is beautiful. The quality of the visuals speaks silently of how big a deal the announcement of the new work by the superstar U2 is. The live performance depicted with that quality is the biggest highlight. On the day, 11 songs were played in the studio by U2 with strings backed by a conductor, but only 7 were broadcast on TV. This work not only contains a complete recording of the broadcast with interviews and documents (although there are a few pro shots of "THE JOSHUA TREE TOUR 2017" inserted, giving a glimpse of the tremendous spectacle), but also includes 8 songs including "All I Want Is You", which was not broadcast on TV and was only released online (I hope that a complete version will be released in the future, including the three unreleased songs "Every Breaking Wave", "You're the Best Thing About Me", and "13 (There Is A Light)"). All the songs are gorgeous versions with a symphonic flavor, but the new songs from "SONGS OF EXPERIENCE" are the ones to watch. Although some songs were performed on the previous tour, this work plays three different songs, "Lights of Home", "Get Out of Your Own Way", and "Love Is Bigger Than Anything in Its Way". You can witness the very early performance, the first or second performance, in official quality. Anyway, beautiful images and a gorgeous ensemble. Although it is best to meet "the current U2", it is a multi-camera pro-shot work of such quality that it is not enough. The much-anticipated album tour will start in May next year, and is still half a year away. For now, place this work next to "SONGS OF EXPERIENCE" and enjoy the "new them" to the fullest.
