TOTO recently embarked on a coupling tour with MEN AT WORK and Christopher Cross. This spectacular video set allows you to experience two of their latest shows in their entirety. This work features two performances: a West Palm Beach performance on July 18, 2025, and an Atlantic City performance on August 1, 2025. While they embarked on their "THE DOGZ OF OZ Tour" in the first half of this year, which will continue from 2022, their current coupling tour is also a new tour. To understand the current situation, let's start with a bird's-eye view of their ongoing activities. 2024 “THE DOGZ OF OZ Tour”《Greg Phillinganes/Shannon Forrest return》・January 14th - May 8th: North America #1 (48 shows) ←※NASHVILLE 2024《June: Steve Maggiora replaced by Dennis Atlas》・June 23rd - August 3rd: Europe #1 (27 shows) ←※NOCHES DEL BOTANICO 2024・August 31st - September 1st: North America #2 (2 shows)・November 15th - 29th: South America (7 shows) ←※SOUTH AMERICAN TOUR 2024 2025・February 1st - March 2nd: Europe #2 (21 shows)・April 16th - 26th: Oceania (6 shows)・April 29th - May 7th: Asia/Middle East (4 shows)“TOTO + MEN AT WORK +・CHRISTOPHER CROSS” ・July 18th - August 30th: North America #3 (30 performances) ←★Here★ ・December 11th - 19th: Latin America (4 performances) This is the schedule for 2024/2025 that has been announced to date. Until May of this year, they were touring the world as “THE DOGZ OF OZ Tour”, but starting this month they have switched to a joint tour. It seems that the three groups will be active for the rest of the year. The two performances in this work were the first day and the 10th performance of this luxurious coupling tour. This work, which vacuum-packs these two performances, is a superb video that, while each has its own unique personality, both are paintings of “superb scenery”. First of all, there is the footage of West Palm Beach on the first day (DISC 1), which is a powerful shot with a series of close-ups. After all, there are so many zooms that it is difficult to tell where the camera was filming. Normally, no matter how spectacular the view, you can tell where you are in the moment before the viewpoint is set at the start of the show, but with this work, you really can’t tell. While their hands occasionally appear on the edge of the frame, it seems they're not in the front row, as the upper bodies of Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams fill the screen, almost like a single-camera professional shot. The Atlantic City footage (Disc 2) replaces it, showing a medium-distance shot of the opening scene, but then immediately zooms in boldly. The audience quickly disappears from the frame, revealing a breathtaking view of each band member. What's more, the two videos share excellent camerawork. While the cameramen appear to be different, it's clear that both are well-versed in Toto's staging. The camerawork smoothly and steadily tracks the highlights, without the sense of bold zooms. For example, while Joseph is captured in the center of the frame as he walks around the stage, the camera switches to Lukather and Greg Phillinganes as they pass each other, and then continues to film their solos. Despite it being the first night, the camerawork is consistent and consistent, showing a deep understanding of the show's content. These two videos show stunning views that rival each other, but the sets are similar yet different. Let's compare them with the memorable 2023 Japan tour set. Common to both shows (14 songs): Space Knight: Child's Anthem (★) / Georgy Porgy / I'll Supply The Love / Hold The Line; Hydra: 99 (★) / White Sister; Sacred Sword: Rosanna / I Won't Hold You Back (★) / Africa; Isolation: Carmen (★) / Angel Don't Cry (★); Other: I'll Be Over You / Pamela / Mindfields (★); Daily songs (3 songs): West Palm Beach (DISC 1): Home Of The Brave / Don't Chain My Heart (★); Atlantic City (DISC 2): Stop Loving You (★). Note: Songs marked with a "★" are not performed during the 2023 Japan tour. ...And so it goes. While there are some changes, primarily from "THE SEVENTH ONE," the basic set is quite fresh. While "Carmen" and "Angel Don't Cry" from "ISOLATION" are also eye-catching, the highlight is undoubtedly the title track from "MINDFIELDS." This rare track had never been performed live until this year, and was first unveiled in the aforementioned "Europe #2." The disc features powerful, up-close footage of West Palm Beach (DISC 1) and crystal-clear footage of Atlantic City (DISC 2). While distinctly different, both offer clear, unobstructed views, like a single-camera professional shot. While there's no telling when they'll return to Japan, this release gives you a special seat at "TOTO 2025." This two-disc set is perfect for watching right now. It also features stunning audience shots from the "West Palm Beach Performance on July 18, 2025" and "Atlantic City Performance on August 1, 2025." While each video has its own unique character, both are superb footage with zero obstructions. The screen, filled with the upper bodies of Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams, looks like a single-camera professional shot. This year's debut performance of "Mindfields" also offers a spectacular view of both performances from the latest tour. iTHINK Financial Amphitheater, West Palm Beach, FL, USA 18th July 2025 Hard Rock Live at the Etess Arena, Atlantic City, NJ, USA 1st August 2025 Disc 1 1.
