The latest video has arrived, where you can witness the much-talked-about show with David Paich's jump-in. It has been decided to release it urgently as a two-disc set coupling two superb view special seat shots. This work was shot at the "Sacramento performance on April 1, 2022". This is a superb view audience shot. TOTO is currently accompanying JOURNEY's "FREEDOM Tour 2022" as an opening act. The other day, the flash live album "BOSTON & DETROIT 2022" was also very well received. First of all, let's check the show's position from the latest schedule while also organizing the collection.・February 22-27: North America (4 performances)・February 28: "BOSTON & DETROIT 2022 (Disc 1)"・March 2: "BOSTON & DETROIT 2022 (Disc 2)"・March 4-31: North America (13 performances)・April 1: Sacramento performance ←★This work★・April 4-May 11: North America (21 performances)・July 11-August 27: Europe (33 performances)This is the schedule that has been announced so far. The Sacramento performance of this work was the 20th concert of the latest tour. This work, which vacuum-packs such a show, is a two-disc set that couples two spectacular images with completely different personalities. Some of you may have already got the idea. Yes, this work is a sister work of the JOURNEY edition, which will be released at the same time this week. It is the TOTO edition by the same photographer. [Arena shots (DISC 1) and circle shots (DISC 2)] As expected, the quality of this work is very similar to the JOURNEY edition, as it is a continuous shot of the same person. DISC 1 is an "arena shot" captured from the left side near the stage, which has been talked about as "like a professional shot". The reason for this is not only the closeness of the stage, but also the same eye level as the members, which is away from the audience, so the stage occupies the entire field of view without any obstructions. Moreover, the sound is extremely on and there is a lot of directness. It is not a multi-camera, and it is not a close-up of the hands or expressions, but if you were told that it is a "one-camera shot of the people involved," you would probably believe it. Instead, DISC 2 is a "circle shot" by the same photographer as the JOURNEY edition. It may be an unfamiliar word, but it is a panoramic shot looking down from the second (third?) floor stands. The great thing about this is that it does not zoom in on the highlights, but rather captures "everything on the stage" in its entirety. Even so, at first, the camera shakes to feature the highlights, but halfway through, he realizes that a full view is better, and it becomes almost fixed. In fact, the JOURNEY version is a more effective way of shooting than the opening act TOTO, but by combining it with this work, it is possible to "experience the whole show from the same photographer's point of view". [Special stage with Paich's appearance] These two spectacular views depict a one-of-a-kind full show. After all, this show is a night that is talked about because Paich participated as a guest. In the first place, Paich is still an official member of TOTO, but since 2018 he has not participated in the tour due to health issues. Although he has occasionally participated in the show, his last appearance was at the final day of the "40 TRIPS AROUND THE SUN Tour" (you can enjoy the show at our "PHILADELPHIA 2019"). It was his first appearance in two and a half years. Of course, Paich did not participate fully. In the middle of the show, Steve Lukather introduced, "We have a little special surprise for you tonight. Jeffrey and the band started, and my brother who taught me everything has come out of his hiatus to jam with us." They performed four songs together, more than usual. So, which song was the first time they performed together in a long time? Let's check it out while sorting out the full set here. ・Space Knight: Hold The Line/Georgy Porgy・Hydra: White Sister・Holy Sword: I Won't Hold You Back/Rosanna (★)/Africa (★)・Fahrenheit: I'll Be Over You・The Seventh Sword: Home Of The Brave (★)・Holy Sword Bonds: Orphan・Other: With A Little Help From My Friends (★) *Note: The ★ mark indicates songs featuring David Paich. ...And so it goes like this. The Beatles cover "With A Little Help From My Friends" is a number that was not heard at "PHILADELPHIA 2019", but Paich plays the keyboard on four songs including it. In addition, he also performs lead vocals on "Home of the Brave". This is a video work that allows you to fully experience the latest tour with two types of spectacular views with "super". Moreover, it is a rare scene where Paich participated, and when combined with the JOURNEY edition, you can enjoy the entire legendary beautiful melody of the two bands. The absolute work of the latest tour that is too delicious in every sense. A super spectacular audience shot of the "Sacramento performance on April 1, 2022". It is a two-disc set that includes the "Arena Shot (DISC 1)" with a close-up feeling and the "Circle Shot (DISC 2)" that captures the entire stage while looking down from the second floor seats, which is the same day / same photographer collection as the JOURNEY edition "Uxbridge 1628". Both are superb views without any obstructions, and are the definitive edition that allows you to fully experience the greatest hits, which also feature David Paich, from a special seat.
