TOTO's first visit to Japan was realized in 1980. A new original recording has been discovered that allows you to experience the legendary scene carved in the history of Japanese Western music! What is infused into this work is the “March 11, 1980: Nakano Sunplaza” performance. This is the best audience recording. Speaking of their first visit to Japan, FM broadcast soundboards and TV broadcast pro shots were also left behind, and "HYDRA IN NAGOYA" and "HYDRA COMES TOKYO" are also very popular as standard at our store. This is also a good opportunity, so let's first look back at our schedule at the time and organize our collection.・March 2nd: Osaka Festival Hall ・March 3rd “HYDRA IN NAGOYA” ・March 5th: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall ・March 6th: Kyoto Kaikan Hall 1 ・March 8th: Shibuya Public Hall ・3 March 9th: Nakano Sunplaza (2 performances day and night) March 11th: Nakano Sunplaza ←★This work★ March 12th "HYDRA COMES TOKYO (Shinjuku)" & TV broadcast March 13th "HYDRA COMES TOKYO" (Shibuya)” & FM broadcast, 10 performances in total. Three performances were held for two consecutive days at Nakano Sun Plaza, and this work is the final performance. This is right before the FM broadcast (Shibuya Public Hall) or TV broadcast (Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall). This work recorded at such a show is an original recording that will be released for the first time in Japan. Billy Joel's new masterpiece "TOKYO 1978" will be preserved forever, but this work is actually the work of the same recording artist. What's more, it's a sister production with standing room seating on the second floor at the same venue. It's not a zero distance direct since it's only on the second floor, but the atmosphere is clear and the core that runs through the middle is vivid. The exquisite hall sound produces luster and dynamism, but it is not so thick that it hides details. And above all, the freshness that comes from being a master master is amazing. The extended notes are straight and beautiful, and the sound is beautiful without distortion until the moment it goes off. Rather than being mistaken for a sound board, it is full of the beauty unique to audience recording. For example, it is a beautiful recording like the famous Kinney (actually, he is a different person). It's not the sound, it's the length. Unfortunately, the encore is not included. Having said that, only one song, “All Us Boys”, was missed. It is a two-disc set of over 80 minutes, which is longer than the two types of broadcast soundboards. Let's compare and organize them here. Space Knight (7 songs) / Child's Anthem (★) / I'll Supply The Love / Angela (★) / Georgy Porgy / Rockmaker (★) / Girl Goodbye (★) / Hold The Line Hydra (5 songs) / Hydra /St. George And The Dragon/Mama/99/White Sister Other (1 song)・Tale Of A Man *Note: Songs marked with "★" cannot be heard on the broadcast soundboard of the final two performances in Tokyo. ...and it looks like this. Naturally, the set that concentrated the first two works is special, and "Tale Of A Man", which was unreleased at the time, is also inserted there. Of course, it is not just a collection of early songs, but also a repertoire that is not often played in later years because of its high purity. “Mama” and “Angela” are also delicious, “St. The set, the youthfulness of the performances, and even the breath of the audience witnessing TOTO for the first time, you will be able to experience the best of the scene because it is your first visit to Japan. Since then, TOTO has held 17 Japan tours to date. Their honeymoon with Japan began here. A live album where the scent of 1980 only erupts from the speakers. This is a new discovery worthy of being called a hidden treasure of Japanese Western music history. The best audience recording of the "March 11, 1980: Nakano Sunplaza" performance. This is an original recording that will be released for the first time in Japan, and is a collection of sister works from the same venue and recording artist as Billy Joel's new masterpiece ``TOKYO 1978 (Zion-205)''. The atmosphere is clear, and the core that runs through the middle is vivid. The exquisite hall sound produces gloss and dynamism, but it is not so thick that it hides details. Beautifully recorded by the audience, this is a cultural heritage album that includes plenty of early songs that cannot be heard on broadcast soundboards, such as "Child's Anthem," "Angela," and "Rockmaker."
