This is the highest quality version of the "Young Music Show" ever, which was a 1-hour TV broadcast of the live performance on May 18th, the second day of the Tokyo Budokan performance, from the 1982 Japan tour accompanying "Holy Sword". Recorded from a high-quality video tape newly discovered in recent years. It is recorded with a quality far superior to the past standard already released "BUDOKAN 1982 UPGRADE". This take is mastered from the high-quality video that was included as a bonus in the recently released and well-received "BUDOKAN 2014", but many customers who saw it said, "The picture quality is great, but I want to enjoy it with better sound." So what I thought of was not the Beatles' Share Stadium mentioned earlier, but to mix the leaked stereo soundboard sound source of the same day. The sound source is the direct-connected recording take recorded on discs 5 and 6 of the definitive line recording "MASTER SWORD" (6CD) on the same day. By synchronizing the "MASTER SWORD" take (a different master from the broadcast line recording) recorded on the official stereo line without a single cloud with advanced technology, it has become a masterpiece video title that can be officially released as it is. There is a high-quality commercial take of the Tokyo performance on March 12, 1980, the first visit to Japan, but the one-hour masterpiece video from the "Holy Sword" Japan tour, released at the peak of TOTO's history in every sense, has finally been released in the best form. How can I express this joy? The more you look at it, the more beautiful the screen becomes, and when the ironclad 1982 TOTO's intense performance ensemble is synchronized with the highest sound quality...it's a level that can't be expressed. You can enjoy the best performances by talented members such as Jeff & Mike Porcaro's strongest rhythm section supporting the young Lukather, Bobby's amazing high-frequency control, Paich & Steve Porcaro's twin keyboard skills (CS-80, Jupiter 8, etc. before the DX-7 was released), etc. in the best video. Jeff's bass drum is exquisite in Child's Anthem! You can see that this is what creates the whole beat. Girl Goodbye is full of Jeff's beat that makes good use of the floor tom! The cymbal work is also great. Mike's bass line with a lot of empty picks in the A-melody is excellent. I'll Supply The Love's ensemble in the riff part with a 6-night progression at the end gives you goosebumps. Georgy Porgy is a delicate, bouncy rhythm that only Jeff can express, and the bass drum is also exquisite! John's saxophone is excellent (his tone is just like Ernie Watts'), and not only the solos but also the jazzy obbligatos at key points are moving. Goodbye Elenore is a burst of Jeff's unique shuffle! The rhythm ensemble full of energy using the six-drum bass drum, the solid fill-ins, etc. .... everything is perfect! ! The latter half of Afraid Of Love and Lovers In The Night are basically simple 8-beats, but Jeff's unique spatial swell, which was also at full throttle in "Baked Potato Super Live!", is amazing! In any case, fans are sure to be ecstatic with the rich content, which is the highlight of the whole video. In the first place, no fans have ever listened to this video with such excellent, super high-quality sound before... As a side note, Girl Goodbye, which was covered by the solo from the previous day (17th) due to equipment trouble, is the original take from the 18th. The broadcast version will end with the same song as the original, Rosanna, but this version will include Hold The Line, which is not included in the original. A masterpiece title for all Western music fans who spent their youth in the 80s. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 18th May 1982 PRO-SHOT (Synchronized Original SBD) 1. Child's Anthem 2. Girl Goodbye 3.
