In 2002, TOTO brought their 25th anniversary tour to Japan in conjunction with "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS." A new excavated original recording that conveys the scene is now available. This work is inspired by the "December 10, 2002: Tokyo International Forum" performance. This is the best audience recording. Speaking of coming to Japan in 2002, masterpieces such as "YOKOHAMA 2002" and "TOKYO 2002 FINAL NIGHT" are also popular at our store, but of course this work will be performed separately. First, let's look back at the schedule at that time and confirm each position.・December 3rd: "YOKOHAMA 2002" ・December 4th: Zepp Sendai ・December 5th: Morioka Civic Culture Hall ・December 7th: Tsukisamu Green Dome ・December 9th: Tokyo International Forum ・December 10th : Tokyo International Forum ←★This work★・December 12th: Nagoya City Public Hall・December 14th: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall・December 15th: Zepp Fukuoka・December 17th “TOKYO 2002 FINAL NIGHT” All of the above 10 performances. Roughly speaking, the flow was "Kanto #1 → Tohoku/Hokkaido → Kanto #2 → Western Japan/Kyushu → Kanto #3", and the above two works were representative works of "Kanto #1/Kanto #3". On the other hand, this work is a live album of "Kanto #2" placed in the middle. It is the middle part of a trilogy that allows you to enjoy the beginning, middle, and end of the Japan tour while being in the same Kanto area. This work, recorded at a show, is a dynamic and exquisite recording. This show has already been released with a sparse sound, but of course this work is a different sound source. I can tell from the tone that it's an audience, but it doesn't give a sense of distance. The powerful core approaches, and the sound of the hall creates depth and dynamism. The point is that the details clearly emerge from the middle of the sound. Even though the various phrases overlap, they don't clump together, allowing you to fully enjoy the presence of each member. While the thick performance sound and vocals are approaching, the details are not blurred and the whole body is enveloped...This is a masterpiece recording that allows you to immerse yourself in that feeling. The reason why it has such a great sound is because the recording artist is not a freebie. He has recently attracted attention for his 90's recordings by VAN HALEN and YES, and his collection also includes Ozzy's "BUDOKAN 1996 FINAL" and "BUDOKAN 2002" and YES's "TOKYO 2003 2ND NIGHT". This work is the TOTO edition. What is depicted with such a sound is the greatest hits that run through 25 glorious years. Speaking of this tour's symbolic work, the official "LIVE IN AMSTERDAM" is, but since it is a similar and different set, let's organize it by comparison. Early Classics (15 songs)・Space Knight: Girl Goodbye/Child's Anthem/I'll Supply The Love/Georgy Porgy/Hold The Line (Can't Get Next To You)・Hydra: Hydra/White Sister (★)・Turnback: Good Bye Eleanor/Gift With A Golden Gun/English Eyes・Sacred Sword: Africa/Waiting For Your Love/I Won't Hold You Back/Rosanna/Afraid Of Love Mid-term (6 songs)・Isolation: Lion・Dune/Sand Planet: Paul Meets Chani (★) ・Fahrenheit: Don't Stop Me Now (★) / Till The End ・The Seventh Sword: Stop Loving You (★★) / Home Of The Brave Through The・Looking Glass (3 songs) ・Could You Be Loved (★★) / While My Guitar Gently Weeps / Bodhisattva *Note: Songs marked with “★” cannot be heard on the live album “LIVE IN AMSTERDAM”. In particular, "★★" is a song that cannot be heard even on the DVD version of "LIVE IN AMSTERDAM." There are many medley arrangements, so the number of songs is just a reference, but it looks like this. The official “LIVE IN AMSTERDAM” is longer in the DVD version, but you can enjoy this work up to “Stop Loving You” and “Could You Be Loved” that can’t be heard there. This alone is filling, but what's even more interesting is the MC. In particular, what Lukather says after "Don't Stop Me Now" is a must-listen. To simply translate it into Japanese..."I watched a bootleg video from 1980 today. "It's from when I was a kid. It's a happy memory. Thank you to all my friends in Japan. I want to come back and play for you as much as possible." There is. In fact, when Lukather says he "watched the video," he is referring to "Tokyo 1980," which was released at that time. (Note: At this time, VHS was still the main format, and bootleg DVDs were rare. It must have been the first time the members of TOTO had seen their own collector's DVDs in Nishi-Shinjuku.) I was grateful that they allowed me to publish the photos of their visit to their website, but I never expected that they were making fun of them on stage that day... What's more, this episode was also talked about in an interview with a young guitar magazine at the time. He also mentions his memories of Jeff Porcaro and says, ``I'm overcome with emotion while playing,'' but this work is by no means just a selection of famous songs, but a live show where those emotions seep out from every part of the performance. It's an album. TOTO performs the masterpieces they have accumulated over a quarter of a century with all their heart and soul. This is a new excavation master that allows you to experience the whole story with exquisite sound. A superb audience recording of the ``December 10, 2002: Tokyo International Forum'' performance, with wonderful sounds and touching movements that allow you to experience the expression of emotion. This is a dynamic recording that will be released for the first time in Japan, and the powerful core is approaching, and the sound of the hall creates depth and dynamism. This is a masterpiece recording that immerses you in the feeling of being surrounded by the thick performance sound and vocals, without blurring the details. You can enjoy “Stop Loving You” and “Could You Be Loved,” which are the 25th anniversary greatest hits but cannot be heard on the official work “LIVE IN AMSTERDAM.” Don't miss the MC who talks about Lukather's memories of visiting our store. (Memories 1) TOTO members came to the store twice at this time, the first being Bobby and Tony. At this time, Bobby noticed a mistake in Lukather's guitar solo part in "99" from "Tokyo 1980" (DVD) that was playing in the store's BGM, and the clerk said, "Oh, he made a mistake. I want to see it again, so please put it back." Request to. I remember watching that part and saying, ``Gyahaha, he's in a hurry,'' and the two of us looking like we were having fun. (Memory Story 2) The next day, Lukather, Paich, Simon, and Tony came again. Lukather: “Why is this here!” (angry) Paich: “Of course, this is a bootleg shop (lol)” Live at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo, Japan 10th December 2002 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1(62:41) 1.
