The super-famous recording, also known as "the masterpiece of the Joseph William era," has been upgraded and revived. This work contains "October 29, 1986: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium." This is the finest audience recording of the precious "FAHRENHEIT TOUR 1986-1987." Normally, we would only list the dates of the Japanese performances, but this time we will look at the show's position from the overall world tour picture. [1986] October 22: Santa Cruz performance October 29: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium ★This work★ October 30 + 31: Yoyogi Olympic Pole November 2: Shinjuku Welfare Pension Hall November 4: Osaka Castle Hall November 5: Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium November 6: Osaka Castle Hall "FEEL THE HEAT" November 7: Fukuoka Sunpalace November 10: Honolulu performance [1987] January 20-February 5: Europe (11 performances) This is the whole view of the tour. In 1986, the main tour was the Japan tour, with only two other performances in Santa Cruz and Honolulu. In 1987, there were only 11 European performances. Although it spanned North America / Japan / Europe, it was a short tour that could hardly be called "world". The Yokohama performance of this work is the second performance of such a tour. It was the first concert in Japan. Although it is a record of the world-famous "FAHRENHEIT TOUR", this work has super high sound quality that blows away such rarity. It is the original master that first appeared as "THE KEEPER OF THE WORDS", but it was even called "definitely the top class among the recordings of the Japan tour" with its outstanding clear recording. The point here is not "1986". It is the top class among "all the records of the Japan tour" that have appeared countless times in the long history. Of course, it cannot be said that it is the "pinnacle" if the current digital recording is included, but it is still top class, and it is unparalleled quality worldwide in the Joseph era. This work is a super-famous recording of such a level that has been re-digitized from the original master and further brushed up with the latest meticulous remaster. This upgrade is no joke. The original recording was terribly clear, but it was a light balance with a focus on the mid-high range. In this work, the balance is adjusted while maintaining the original transparent beauty. If the bass is responsive, the midrange is extremely juicy. The sound of the hall adds color, but does not hide any details, the bass groove is so delicate that the vibe waveform comes to mind, and the high notes stretch straight and have a sense of scale. It achieves a rich sound that can be called "as if it were official". The show revived with that sound is the precious and wonderful world of the "FAHRENHEIT TOUR". What is amazing is Joseph's singing voice. Although it is only his second performance in the world, he should not be fully trained, but his singing to prove his ability is extremely passionate. The melody is sung carefully, but it stretches out comfortably and his singing is powerful. The wonderfulness of his past repertoire that shines with his singing voice. He also came to Japan for his next album "THE SEVENTH ONE", but there are many delicious versions such as "Georgy Porgy", "Girl Goodbye", and "Mama" that we could not hear there. And what is even more noteworthy is the "FAHRENHEIT" number. Although the next tour was already limited to the standard "I'll Be Over You," this album features seven of the 10 songs on the album. The hidden ballad "Lea" and other songs such as "We Can Make It Tonight" and "Could This Be Love" are also valuable, but the title song "Fahrenheit" is the best. The other songs have been performed in recent years, but only at that time. It is also a very rare song that has only been played a few times on one hand. In particular, the sound is so excellent that it is beyond superb. The show that can be called a "live performance version of FAHRENHEIT" depicted by that sound. This is a great decision board that revives the super-famous recordings that are rarely seen in the entire history of TOTO, becoming even more vivid and richer. This is a masterpiece among masterpieces that maximizes its potential because it is a miraculous record where the goddess of recording smiled. This is a masterpiece from the Joseph era that is comparable to the essential studio works "FAHRENHEIT" and "THE SEVENTH ONE".
