This is a super-beautiful recording of a live performance at the Jazz Festival held in Lugano, Switzerland in 1977, which is also of official quality, compared to the broadcast recording. He is known for his sideman playing, known as the man behind the masterpieces of Sonny Rollins' "Saxophone Colossus" and Miles Davis and John Coltrane, but since the 1970s he has led his own leader trio, and in 1975 he came to Japan with bassist Keeter Betts, who also participated in this live performance, and has been highly praised. This work is a trio with Keeter and drummer Jimmy Smith, and with the help of the situation of a live performance at the world-famous Carnegie Hall, he generously shows off his superb piano playing throughout the entire album, including "All the Things You Are," "Body & Soul," and "Blue Bossa." Although his activities are modest, his sincere and heartfelt performance that gives a sense of his personality burns your soul!
