THIN LIZZY with John Sykes and Gary Moore with Neil Carter. A symbolic pro shot representing the two great Irish HR heroes has been decided to be released. This work contains two live performances in the UK. It is a multi-camera pro shot of "Hitchin performance (THIN LIZZY) on January 26, 1983" and "Chippanham performance (Gary Moore) on January 22, 1984". The two videos are different years, venues, and bands, but we did not arbitrarily couple them. This is a DVD of a 90-minute broadcast featured on a certain broadcasting association's famous program "Golden Western Music Live". Our store archives many music programs with a core record enthusiast's German master, and this work is one of them. Many people have seen the two live videos because they are the standard among the standards for both heroes, but this work is a special version unique to Japanese broadcasting. As always, the unique production unique to "Golden Western Music Live" is wonderful, and the degree of completion is higher than usual. The unique production is Japanese subtitles and commentary corner. A brief history of the bands and songs is introduced, and the MC also displays a full translation. As expected of a broadcast, it is a friendly and kind design for beginners. And the commentary corner is even better than usual. This program invites famous people related to the artists to act as guides, and in this program, the role is played by "that" famous critic, also known as the "God of Japanese Metal". The commentary corner is experienced but passionate. To be honest, the commentary corner of this program is a mixture of good and bad. Depending on the broadcast, it is often a former idol who doesn't know much about the band, or an old man of the same age who talks about stupid memories that don't make sense. However, this critic is a driving force behind the metal boom, so his explanations are easy to understand and accurate. And yet, his passionate, non-textbook style of speaking exudes "I love it!" I think he is probably also involved in the program concept and video selection based on "Irish HR", but while it is a coupling of two different bands, it is sublimated into "one work" by wrapping it in a wonderful commentary corner. Although it has been a long digression, the main characters of this work are of course two live shows. Let me briefly introduce each one. [First half: THIN LIZZY in the THUNDER AND LIGHTNING era (about 43 minutes)] The first half of the program is THIN LIZZY in the John Sykes era. It was Sykes' debut live performance, which took place about one month before the release of his final work "THUNDER AND LIGHTNING". Speaking of professional shots of this era, there are two performances, the Hitchin performance (this work) and the Dublin performance, and the Hitchin performance is the highest peak video with a long time and high shooting quality. Even though the Sydney video from the Gary Moore era was official, it was difficult to call it official grade, but this video is unquestionable. It can be called "fully official" and is a classic that you can't talk about without seeing it! Let's organize the set. Thunder and Lightning (5 songs) This Is The One (★) / Cold Sweat / The Sun Goes Down / The Holy War (★) / Baby Please Don't Go Others (3 songs) Fighting!!: Rosalie Jailbreak: Jailbreak (★) / The Boys Are Back In Town (★) *Note: "★" marks are songs that cannot be seen in the Dublin performance video "THUNDER AND LIGHTNING TOUR". [Second half: Gary Moore from the VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE era (about 40 minutes)] The second half of the program is Gary Moore. If THIN LIZZY is Sykes' debut, this is the first live performance of "VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE" released, in which Neil Carter, his partner from the HR era, participated. Both videos were recorded for the same program "SIGHT & SOUND IN CONCERT", so the quality is very similar. Although the venues are different, the switching sense and texture are similar, making it a completely official video that is truly a brother video. Speaking of live performances during the Neil era, the traditional official album "WE WANT MOORE!" is the most famous, so let's organize the set by comparing it. Victims of the Future (4 songs) ・Shapes of Things / Hold On To Love (◆) / Victims of the Future / Empty Rooms Others (3 songs) ・Back on the Streets: Back On The Streets ・Great Ambition; Rockin' Every Night (◆) / End Of The World *Note: "◆" marks are songs that cannot be heard on the official live album "WE WANT MOORE!" The journey of Phil Lynott and Gary Moore, who have repeatedly separated and reunited since their origins as SKID ROW. This work is packed with symbolic footage of the era when both heroes were in different bands but were competing with each other on the wave of the HR/HM boom. Each one is a classic, but when placed side by side, it shines even more. A superb professional shot that symbolizes both heroes of Irish HR has been released. This is the Japanese broadcast version that features the classic live performances from the "THUNDER AND LIGHTNING" and "VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE" eras.
