The opening leg of the final Who tour, "THE SONG IS OVER," finally kicked off in July 2025. The performance in Milan, Italy on July 22nd was recorded in two excellent audience shots, each lasting about 1 hour and 50 minutes. Disc 1 features a stable shot from the front of the stage, while Disc 2 features a shot from the left side of the stage, capturing the entire concert from completely different angles. The front camera provides clear footage with a zoomed-in effect from around "Love Ain't For Keeping," while the side camera captures the entire stage and the band members well, each with its own unique characteristics. The opening song, "I Can't Explain," was dedicated to the recently deceased Ozzy Osbourne, and the concert began with a moving opening, with Ozzy's image even projected on the screen behind him. After that, they continued with a parade of their signature numbers, with the screen effects playing in the background of songs like "My Generation" and "You Better You Bet" being fantastic, especially the second half of "Won't Get Fooled Again." The finale of this tour, "Song Is Over," was a moving finale, and it was a delight to see the band's current simple lineup, making this a masterpiece that will make us look forward to future performances.
