The Iron Maidens Iron Maidens/Netherlands 2015

The 2015 performance of Iron Maidens, the world's best tribute band, recognized by the original band. The venue is the Cultural Podium Bordelai in Zoetermeer, a town about an hour's drive from the capital Amsterdam. When the familiar song "Doctor Doctor" from Iron Maiden's concerts comes out of the speakers, the audience sings along. Then, a familiar speech is played, with a verse from "Natural Born Killers" in between, and the members appear at the same time. The intro to "Ace's High" begins with the end of Churchill's speech, "We shall never surrender!". This is the opening of a show that competes for first and second place in the HM world. Then, without a moment's pause, they launch into "Die with Your Boots on". The PA balance is a little off, but vocalist Bruce Chickenson, aka Kirsten Rosenberg, has a powerful and long voice that really reminds the audience of the original blues.
