The greatest big band in jazz history, Thad Jones & Mel Lewis Orchestra, recorded a live broadcast with a luxurious lineup at Studio 104 in Paris in September 1969, and fans are excited to hear this live recording, which was recorded for the first time from a broadcast source tape that was excavated this year. This live performance is from the 1969 European tour, which required a distinguished lineup of members such as Pepper Adams, Joe Henderson, Eddie Daniels, Richard Hanna, and Richard Davis, and unlike "Copenhagen 1969," this live performance is released on CD as a complete album without any cuts, and also includes Roland Hanna's beautiful piano solo from the second half of the live performance. Please enjoy their world heritage live performance, which had a great influence on the big band style later on.
