The classic recording of the earliest 1974 Max performance is now available in a brushed-up version with the latest remastering! An incomplete version was included on a private release titled "Poor Circulation", and the longest version, including the five songs from "Venus" onwards in the latter half of the live performance, was included on the same label's previously released "COMPLETE MAXS KANSAS CITY 1974". In this work, the master used in the previously released version has been newly digitally transferred and newly remastered. Excessive equalization has been avoided, and the sound quality has been recorded with a natural balance that balances the original tape, resulting in a clearer outline. Only a few seconds are missing from the intro of the opening "You Rip My Feelings Out" and the ending of "Change Your Channels", and the last "Prove It" is missing from the first half onwards, which is a shame, but the rest is completely recorded. This is a two-set live performance, with the first set being up to Change Your Channels, and the second set being from then on. Of the 15 tracks, 11 are unreleased songs that were only played at early live shows and then shelved. "What I Heard" is the original version of "Postcard From Waterloo," which was later adapted by Tom Verlein and released on a solo album. "Fuck Rock And Roll," in which Hell sings rap-style vocals, features highly improvised work. You can also hear an early version of "Venus," which was later included on an album and became the band's signature number, before the guitar riff was created. You can enjoy the longest existing master with a brushed-up sound.
