From 1974 to 1975, before making their major debut with the album ``MARQUEE MOON'', they recorded several demo tracks under the production of Brian Eno, which were later featured on Analog Boot, etc. Especially. This title is a combination of the analog boot ``Double Exposure'' and the 1974 demo track ``Fairland'', which are currently difficult to obtain and are sold at high prices at online auctions, and are directly converted into CDs. First of all, "Double Exposure" is, as everyone knows, this work is called the band's masterpiece, including the official one, and it is a masterpiece that is a missing link from garage psych to punk. Also, be sure to check out the fact that it includes 5 studio recordings produced by Eno in 1974 before their debut, and 3 songs recorded live at CBGB in 1975, all with Richard Hell on bass. The five studio takes, including the unreleased song "Double Exposure", are full of Eno style, and the sound quality is comparable to the official one. The four songs later included in the debut album are also different from the sensual, awakened sound that was perfected at the time of the debut, with plenty of garage and psychedelic tones, and Verlaine's guitar and vocals are pulled by a thrilling beat. Also, there is a lot of suspiciousness that is not on the official version. Furthermore, "Marquee Moon", which became the title number, is different from Lloyd's part at the beginning, the performance is fast, and the arrangement is completely different, with the piano starting to come in around the guitar solo in the second half. All three live tracks are of official quality, including the unreleased song "Double Exposure" and the 13th Floor Elevators' cover "Fire Engine", which will give you goosebumps. Although the demo sound source "Fairland" produced at Studio 875 is a little inferior in quality, it is full of pure passion, as if New York punk was born from the womb of garage rock, and is a masterpiece that has been difficult to obtain until now. , here in the best quality.
