Taj Mahal soundboard live sound source. The sound quality is excellent, with the instrument being swung cleanly from side to side. Taj Mahal is a popular musician with multiple titles released on the same label. Although they mainly specialize in country blues, they have also released many albums that incorporate elements of world music from a wide range of countries, including Asia, Africa, and Hawaii. What is recorded here is a live performance at the Fillmore in 1971, and it is an arrangement that mainly features the tuba and the Suga band. In the late 1960s, Jesse Ed Davis's guitar was a popular choice, but it's even cooler than that period. ``Diving Duck Blues'' is originally a speedy song, but the contrast between the wind instruments with heavy footwork and the guitar and bass running in contrast is the best. Each song has been completely redesigned and has a new soul. Compared to the rock era of Jesse Davis, the feel of funk and soul has increased considerably, and rock fans should come here after going through the "Jesse era". In addition, as you can imagine from the title, the live performance of the same period was officially released as "Real Thing". Of course, this is a different live show, and there are more songs here, so even those who have already experienced the wonders of this period with "Real Thing" will have something new to discover. This is a highly recommended title. Recorded Live at Fillmore East, NY, May 23, 1971 ** EX-Soundboard recording *** 86 min DISC 1 01. Intro - unknown 02. FISHIN' BLUES 03. TOM AND SALLY DRAKE 04.
