The Crusaders' rare live performance at the "Riviera 1976 Festival Jazz-Rock" held in La Castellet, France in July 1976, in which Joe Cocker appeared as a guest on the staff stage, was recorded by the same recording staff as the Crusaders. The rare record, which is the oldest solo staff live performance on a big stage and uses a high-quality master, is now available for the first time! After the recording session for Cocker's masterpiece "Stingray" that led to the formation of the staff, it was a live performance shortly after he started his activities as a staff, and I can't get enough of his fresh performance! Unfortunately, Steve Gadd was unable to participate on this stage due to his busy schedule, but the five members of Cornell Dupree, Eric Gale, Richard Tee, Gordon Edwards, and the lone struggler Chris Parker performed the Bluesy Blues. This soulful and extremely groovy ensemble is second to none! The staff performed six songs independently, from the first song "Love the One You're With" to "How Long Will It Last," and the last two songs "Feelin' Alright" and "You... Cocker appears in "Are So Beautiful" and sings with passion, using his trademark husky voice for a wonderful performance!
