STRYPER visited Japan three times during their heyday in the 1980s: in 1985, 1987, and 1989. The first visit to Japan will be the official video "LIVE IN JAPAN", and the second time you can fully enjoy the main live album "CALLING OVER YOU". This is the third time that I'm concerned. This work is a professional shot video of the “March 16, 1989 Budokan performance” from the third Japan tour! And! This work is not just a professional shot. This live was broadcast on BS at the time, but the master of this work is in the editing stage for broadcasting. Compared to the BS main broadcast, there are no cuts or subtitles, and even the part where the venue lights up after the show is recorded. Furthermore, the greatest quality of the “master in progress” is its quality. There are also DVDs on the market that air check the broadcasts from that time, but their image and sound quality (of course) cannot be compared. In fact, the image quality is official level...or better. It is of outstanding quality among all their 80s videos. Of course, the sound is also an exceptional ear sound board. Michael Sweet's singing voice, which combines the majesty of Mark Bolles and the friendliness of Mike Vecerra, has a direct feel that sounds like it's flowing directly from the microphone into your brain (I thought he would definitely fit in well with Yngwie). hey……). The first Budokan performance, which shows off such beautiful quality, is the greatest hits of the 80's heyday. The main 2nd CDR “KEEP THE FIRE BURNING” had a bold set list that showcased all the songs “TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL”, but this is the hit trilogy “SOLDIERS UNDER COMMAND” “TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL” “IN GOD” WE TRUST” covers hits and popular songs evenly. Although there are no songs from the debut work “THE YELLOW AND BLACK ATTACK”, it is a set list that condenses the golden age of the 80s into one show. This work has some editing between songs, but the songs themselves are completely recorded. The rotating drum kit in “To Hell With The Devil” is also perfect. You can enjoy this delicious total settlement live to your fullest. STRYPE had a unique personality even in the glamorous LA metal scene. Live At Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 16th March 1989. Pro-Shot 1.
