In 2011, Sting captivated the world with his orchestral tour. A multi-camera video that allows you to fully experience the gorgeous show is now available. This work was filmed at the Lima performance on February 23, 2011. This is an audience shot in Peru, South America. Speaking of “SYMPHONICITY TOUR 2011”, it is also left in the official work “LIVE IN BERLIN”, so let’s first look back at the schedule at that time and also check the position of the show. 2010 / May 26th + 27th: Germany (2 performances) / May 29th: Morocco performance / June 2nd - July 31st: North America (39 performances) [``SYMPHONICITIES'' released on July 13th] ・September 3rd - November 10th: Europe #1 (40 performances) ← * Official "LIVE IN BERLIN" 2011, January 11th - 19th: Asia (6 performances), January 22nd - February 12th Sunday: Oceania (11 performances) February 23rd + 25th: South America (2 performances) ←★Here★ April 28th: New York performance June 6th-July 31st: Europe #2 (31 performances) This is Sting in 2010/2011. The concert in Japan where they performed with the Tokyo New City Orchestra is a memorable one, but after that they toured around the southern hemisphere, including Oceania and South America. The Lima performance of this work was one of only two South American shows. This film, shot at such a location, is truly a spectacular sight. Although it is a multi-camera edit that switches between three angles within one song, the main camera is a close-up shot of Sting from the front. There are no obstructions, and you can see her facial expressions, and even just this one angle is more than enough to create a masterpiece. That said, it's still hard to give up on the multi-camera flavor. Unlike fixed angles, the perspective changes, so you can keep staring at it without getting bored, and you can also get a sense of the scale of the orchestra performance. Of course, even if the viewpoint changes, the sound is completely penetrated by clear audience recording, and you can clearly enjoy even the subtleties of the thick orchestral ensemble. What is depicted with such quality is 2 hours and 6 minutes filled with gorgeously reborn masterpieces. As mentioned above, this tour is symbolized by the official work “LIVE IN BERLIN”, so let’s organize the sets while comparing them here. Police Era (6 songs)・Outlands d'Amour: Roxanne/Next to You (★)・White Regatta: Message In A Bottle (★)・Ghost in the Machine: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic・Synchronicity :King Of Pain/Every Breath You Take Solo and others (19 songs)・Blue Turtle's Dream: Russians/Moon Over Bourbon Street・Nothing Like the Sun: Straight to My Heart (★)/Fragile/Englishman In New York Soul Cage: Why Should I Cry For You/Mad About You Ten Summoners Tales: If I Ever Lose My Faith In You (★)/Shape Of My Heart (★)/Fields Of Gold (★)/ She's Too Good for Me・Fields of Gold: When We Dance/This Cowboy Song・Mercury Falling: I Hung My Head・Brand New Day: A Thousand Years/The End of the Game/Desert Rose・Sacred・Love: Whenever I Say Your Name ・Others: All Would Envy *Note: Songs marked with “★” were not seen in “LIVE IN BERLIN (video version)”. ...and it looks like this. You can enjoy six repertoires that cannot be seen on the official DVD. Of course, I was able to listen to some of them on the CD version of ``LIVE IN BERLIN'', but ``Straight to My Heart'', ``Next to You'', and ``Message In A Bottle'' were some of the famous songs that I couldn't hear there. Above all, the performance of the set and the experience of a full show are wonderful. I don't know the details, but the orchestral ensemble, which seems to be a local orchestra, is more friendly than solemn, and the audience seems to be enjoying themselves rather than listening seriously. It is a video work that allows you to fully immerse yourself in this fun and beautiful sound world and enjoy it to the fullest. Famous songs written by a rare genius songwriter who has devoted his life to writing them. This is the on-site video of the orchestra co-starring tour where the new charm bloomed. In addition to the numbers that could not be seen in the official video, this is a delicious piece that also captures the beautiful and exciting mood of the scene that is unique to South America.
