BBC recorded this special concert held in London on October 3rd and 4th, 2006, in conjunction with the release of the classical music album "Songs from the Labyrinth," which is attracting attention as a new challenge, and which gathered fan club members ahead of the album's release. It is a live performance with Sting himself explaining the songs! The album "Songs from the Labyrinth," a collection of works by John Dowland, a 17th century Elizabethan composer/lute player, is a complete classical genre album released by Deutsche Grammophon, but according to Sting, "To me, this is a 17th century pop song..." and he explains that John Dowland is "the originator of singer-songwriters," following in the footsteps of Robert Johnson, the father of blues. The songs, which are simple yet emotionally sung with lute accompaniment, truly convey the charm of the "voice" itself, are interesting for Sting fans even if they are not rock. 01.Introduction / 02.Walsingham (Edin Karamazov lute solo) / 03.Talk 1 / 04.Flow My Tears (Lachrimae) [Second Booke of Songs, 1600, no 2] (Sting and Edin Karamazov) / 05.Talk 2 / 06.The Lowest Trees Have Tops [Third booke of Songes, 1603, no 19 ] (Sting and Edin Karamazov) / 07.Talk 3 / 08.The Most High and Mighty Christianus the Fourth, King of Denmark , His Galliard [also known as "The Battle Galliard"] (Sting and Edin Karamazov lute duet) / 09.Can She Excuse My Wrongs ["The Earl of Essex's Galliard"; First Booke of Songes, 1597, no 5] (Sting, Edin Karamazov and Stile Antico) / 10.Talk 4 / 11.Fine Knacks for Ladies [Second Booke of Songes, 1600, no 12] (Sting, Edin Karamazov and Stile Antico) / 12.Talk 5 / 13.Fantasy (Edin Karamazov lute solo) / 14.Talk 6 / 15.Come, Heavy Sleep [First [First Booke of Songes, 1597, no 17] (Sting and Edin Karamazov) / 20.Talk 9 / 21.Have You See The Bright Lily Grow [from Ben Jonson: The Devil is an Ass, 1616] (Sting and Edin Karamazov) / 22.Talk 10 / 23.Weep You No More, Sad Fountains [Third Booke of Songes, 1603, no 15] (Sting and Edin Karamazov) / 24.Talk 11 / 25.Fine Kna cks for Ladies [Second Booke of Songes, 1600, no 12] (Sting, Edin Karamazov and Stile Antico) / 26.Outroduction -Recorded Live at LSO St Lukes,London,UK 3rd October 2006-
