Sting in 1985, who began his solo career in earnest with "THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES". The finest recordings that convey the scene have been newly excavated through our own route. The "May 22, 1985 Paris performance" is permanently preserved in this work. It is the finest audience recording. Speaking of "THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES Tour", the official traditional album "BRING ON THE NIGHT" and the soundboard album "CUYAHOGA FALLS 1985" are also familiar. First of all, let's take a bird's-eye view of the activities at that time and check the positional relationship of each. 1985・February 25th-27th: THE RITZ (3 performances)・May 22nd-31st: Paris (7 performances)←★HERE★《"Blue Turtle's Dream" released on June 1st》・August 10th: Appearance at SUPER ROCK'85・August 13th-November 7th: North America (56 performances)←※CUYAHOGA FALLS 1985・November 9th: Performance in Puerto Rico・November 20th-December 23rd: Europe #1 (24 performances)←※Official BRING ON THE NIGHT 1986・January 4th-February 18th: Europe #2 (32 performances)・April 7th-23rd: Australia (12 performances)・April 27th-May 3rd: Europe #3 (5 performances)《"BRING ON THE NIGHT" released on June 20th》This is Sting in 1985/1986. The first solo tour started with a warm-up at "THE RITZ", followed by seven consecutive performances in Paris. This work was recorded on the first day. Incidentally, "Consider Me Gone" and "Down So Long" from the official work "BRING ON THE NIGHT" were also recorded in May 1985, but that was the fifth performance at the same venue (5/29). This work was also one week before that. Until now, no records of such a show were known, but this time, an audience recording was newly excavated across 39 years of time and space. Moreover, the sound is shockingly high-grade. The dense and powerful core stretches like a laser beam, and the details are clear even down to the fine details. What is particularly strange is the clarity. I can tell that it is an audience recording in terms of tone, but the airiness is extremely transparent and the silent parts are too deep. Even though the hall sound can be felt in the performance sounds and vocal extensions, there is no turbidity or cloudiness at all. If I were to give you an image of this sound, it would be something like a "Kinney recording with strengthened muscles." Freshness, transparency, resolution... The beauty of "audience recording" is the same as the prestigious Kinney, but the core's rushing force is added to it. In particular, the vocals stand out from the audience, and you can feel the nuances in each syllable, not just the words of the lyrics. Such a shocking, superb sound depicts the very early full show, which had just become independent. The official work "BRING ON THE NIGHT" was also a two-disc set, but this work is a 94-minute continuous recording that is more than 10 minutes longer. Let's organize the full set while comparing them. Solo Blue Turtle's Dream: Shadows In The Rain (★) / Consider Me Gone / Children's Crusade / Love Is The Seventh Wave / We Work The Black Seam / Moon Over Bourbon Street / Fortress Around Your Heart (★) / If You Love Somebody Set Them Free (★) Cover: Been Down So Long / Need Your Love So Bad (★) THE POLICE White Regatta: Bring On The Night / Message In A Bottle (★★) Zenyatta Mondatta: Driven To Tears / When the World Is Running Down, You Make the Best of What's Still Around Ghost in the Machine: One World (Not Three) / Demolition Man Others: Low Life / I Burn For You / Roxanne (★) *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that were not heard on "BRING ON THE NIGHT". In particular, the "★★" mark indicates songs that were not heard on the soundboard album "CUYAHOGA FALLS 1985". ... and so on. The number of songs is not listed because the medley arrangement is done by the club, but it is a generous performance worthy of being called "the live version of THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES". In addition to album songs such as "Shadows In The Rain", "Children's Crusade", and "Love Is The Seventh Wave", you can enjoy plenty of repertoire unique to that time, such as J.B. Lenoir's "Been Down So Long" and Little Willie John's "Need Your Love So Bad". Sting took a break from THE POLICE and opened a new chapter. This is a newly excavated live album where you can experience the historic full show on site. The master sound that makes you forget the preciousness of the class is permanently preserved. The best audience recording of the "May 22, 1985 Paris performance". It is a world-wide estrus recording newly excavated by our own route. Moreover, the sound is of the highest grade that makes you forget the rarity of the class. The dense and powerful core stretches out like a laser beam, and the clarity is so clear that even the finest details are clearly visible. This new masterpiece is a shock to the whole world, and you can enjoy many masterpieces that you can't hear on the official album "BRING ON THE NIGHT", such as "Shadows In The Rain", "Need Your Love So Bad", "Message In A Bottle", etc. Theater Mogador, Paris, France 22nd May 1985 TRULY PERFECT/ULTIMATE SOUND(from Original Masters) First appearance, super high quality sound source Disc:1 (42:10) 1.
