This video captures a surprise live performance, aside from the usual concerts, during Stevie's 1981 visit to Japan, captured in professional-shot footage leaked by a source close to the event. This was held as a farewell party for the 10th Tokyo Music Festival on March 29th at the Prince Hotel in Tokyo. Stevie not only appeared as a special guest at the festival, but also suddenly expressed a desire to perform, resulting in an impromptu performance. The leaked footage, titled "This Video," captures this performance, and while the performance runs for just over 30 minutes, complete with a time counter, it's clear to see the panic and panic of the crowd at the sudden turn of events. The performance, which includes three songs each from "SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE" and "HOTTER THAN JULY," is of such high quality that it's hard to believe it was an impromptu performance. Since it was a party, many famous Japanese celebrities from the time can be seen, making this a truly exceptional piece of archival footage, capturing scenes that would never normally be seen.
