The super high quality official video DVD is back! This is the official video of the studio live performance "Nottingham performance on September 2, 1990" for television broadcast. At that time, Steve Hackett had left GTR and released the classical guitar album "MOMENTUM". He also toured as a duo with John Hackett, but this was a special live performance for broadcast, so it was a regular full band style. Once it was recorded, he seemed satisfied with the content, as it was not only used for the original television broadcast, but also for his first solo live album "TIME LAPSE" from that time, and was also released on video/laser disc as "STEVE HACKETT: LIVE". It has become a classic official video that represents Hackett's mid-period. This live performance truly sums up Hackett from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. Hackett is currently on a tour with the three themes of "GENESIS, his first solo album "VOYAGE OF THE ACOLYTE", and his latest album "WOLFLIGHT", but the main focus of this work is a well-balanced summary of his other careers. The opening song is his sixth album "HIGHLY STRUNG", and it includes representative songs from his early masterpieces "PLEASE DON'T TOUCH" and "SPECTRAL MORNINGS", new songs from the album "GUITAR NOIR" to be released later, and live songs such as "Depth Charge", "Wonderpatch", and "Jazz Jam" are quite varied. You can also see his duo style with John Hackett, who he was into at the time, in three songs, "Black Light", "Horizons", and "Jucuzzi". Because it was such a masterpiece, it was released on DVD with titles such as "LIVE LEGENDS" early on, but unfortunately it was not fully recorded, and there was a long period when we had to rely on the video/laser discs of the time. So this work was reprinted on DVD from the laser disc in the best condition. This work is a press DVD that was digitized several years ago in partnership with a specialized overseas manufacturer, and since its release, it has been well received for its smooth image beauty without distortion or tracking noise. It has received rave reviews, with people saying, "I've never seen such high quality!" and "Laser discs are packed with so much footage!?" Even now, reprints of laser discs of various bands are very popular, but this is the one that started the series. I hope you will take this opportunity to experience the "mid-period Hackett" that is often forgotten.
