Steely Dan in the 1970s ended their live performance with the support tour for [Pretzel Logic] in 1974. After that, they continued as a unit and produced masterpieces, but among the many 1974 live sound sources, the FM live sound source at the famous "Record Plant" has been recorded in surround sound. This live show is broadcast on 4ch on "SQ Quadraphonic", although the DJ only touches it briefly at the ending. In the mid-70s, 4ch records were released and live performances broadcast on FM have been confirmed. This work reproduces the live sound that was broadcast at the time and experienced by some listeners by converting the surround sound that cannot be recorded on CD into Blu-ray audio. It seems that 4ch surround at that time was not as developed as it is now, and trial and error can be seen in this live performance. As you can see from the intro of the first song [Bodhisattva], Jeff Baxter's lead guitar is mainly placed on the rear side to create a surround sound effect. Although it is a famous sound source for a long time, it is a live sound source with an increased sense of realism that is a little different from before. Includes surround tracks of songs played live on Extra Surround Taracks. The sound world of 4ch analog records released at that time is reproduced. It's natural that it's surround sound, but the separate audio that comes out from the rear side can be a bit of a surprise to familiar ears. A surround disc that allows you to enjoy the highest quality sound. The guitar solo of [Reelin' In The Years], which Jimmy Page praised, includes a slightly different version recorded on 4ch analog. Please check it out for yourself. A high-resolution collector's item that displays full HD size still images on the screen and allows operations from the menu screen and chapter operations. *DTS-HD MA QUADRAPHONIC Surround [24bit-96khz] 01.Stalling for time while the drummer is in the bathroom 02.Announcer Intro 03.Bodhisattva 04.The Boston Rag 05.Do It Again 06.Any Major Dude Will Tell You 07 .King Of The World 08.Rikki Don't Lose That Number 09.Pretzel Logic 10.Your Gold Teeth II (Jam) 11.Reelin' In The Years 12.This All Too Mobile Home Live at The Record Plant Los Angeles, CA U.S.A (KMET - Quad FM Live 1974-03-20) *Extra Surround Tracks (Quadraphonic+5.1ch Surround) Do It Again / Reelin' In The Years / Bodhisattva / The Boston Rag / King Of The World / Rikki Don't Lose That Number / Any Major Dude Will Tell You / Pretzel Logic / Your Gold Teeth II [Can't Buy A Thrill], [Pretzel Logic]& [Katy Lied] QUADRAPHONIC +[Countdown To Ecstasy]5.1CH SURROUND,
