Introducing a product that reproduces the Stan Getz Quartet's performance at the historic New Port Jazz Festival on July 3, 1964, with an official high-quality soundboard recording. What's more, this day was a live performance with the participation of some great guests, making it an interesting performance that any jazz fan would want to hear. The backing for Getz at this New Port performance is made up of cool people including GARY BURTON (vib), GENE CHERICO (b), and JOE HUNT (dr)'s masterpiece "Getz/Gilgert". Masu. The mellow sound of the warm tenor and Gary Burton's vibraphone intertwine to create a cool, sweet, and gentle melancholy mood, allowing you to enjoy a gorgeous moment. I can't believe this is a boot! Now, moving on to the luxurious guests I mentioned earlier, when it comes to Getz, the person I can't forget is Astrud Gilberto! Includes the famous song "Daughter of Ipanema" performed by her ennui and sweet singing voice, and the eighth song "Eu y Vosse". This alone is enough to get the point out of this CD (lol), but what follows is the appearance of Chet Baker, a representative trumpet player and vocalist of West Coast Jazz. Of course, the Getz Quartet is in charge of the backing. "But Not for Me," written by Gershwin and one of Chet's signature songs, followed by the melancholy "I Willed for You," and the final one was Parker's famous song "Little Willie Leaps." A sound source filled with such great performances is rarely discovered! Please listen carefully. 1.Waltz For A Lovely Wife 2.Tonight I Shall Sleep 3.Stan's Blues 4.The Singing Song 5.Sweet Rain 6.Six-Nix-Pix-Flix 7.The Girl From Ipanema(Astrud Gilberto) 8.Eu E Voce (Astrud Gilberto) 9.But Not For Me(Cheet Baker) 10.I Waited For You(Chet Baler) 11.Little Willie Leaps(Chet Baker) Live at Newport Jazz, Rhode Island 07/03/1964 Stan Getz (ts) Gary Burton (vib) Gene Cherico (b) Joe Hunt (dr) Astrud Gilberto (voc) Chat Baker (tpt, voc) Phil Erso (p)
