SOS Band/NY,USA 2002

Release of the OS band's live performance at the Apollo Theater in New York. I suspect that someone involved recorded the line (the MC said it was a live recording). It's a bit disappointing that the chorus is a little low, but the performance is captured well. The original Mary Davis came back in 1994, and with the addition of Jason Bryant, the key player in the sound, and Bruno Speight, the thrilling guitar player, they perfectly embody the SOS band of yesteryear. The SOS band's songs are actually great, and the songs produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are great, but I'm glad they also play their hidden gem, Nothing But The Best. Of course, he played the super high quality medium No One's Gonna Love You, and the big hits Take Your Time, Just Be Good To Me, The Finest, and finally Just The Way You Like It.
