Sons of Apollo/Pacifica Theater 2018

Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian, former members of Dream Theater, Billy Sheehan of MR.BIG, Jeff Scott Soto, known for Journey, and Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, former member of Guns N’ Roses. Sons Of Apollo, a new band formed by these five people, recorded a live performance at the progressive cruising festival Cruise to the Edge 2018 on February 3rd with the audience. On the day, they also performed a cover of Dream Theater’s “Lines In The Sand”. Although the band’s unity is not as strong as Dream Theater’s, they are cohesive for such a super band, the songs are good, and Jeff Scott Soto’s vocals are a great fit for this band!
