This DVD edition includes a full two-hour recording of the sold-out September 17th concert at Nippon Budokan, the second night of their first Japan tour in 25 years. The recording was recorded using a multi-stereo IEM matrix audio source, and the DVD also includes high-quality audience shots. The band's onstage stereo IEM sources, each with a different mix balance, and the digital audience sources were perfectly mixed, creating a multi-IEM matrix with virtually no click guides, resulting in a hybrid sound that fully captures the atmosphere of the venue, recreating the performance at soundboard level. Furthermore, the digital camera footage on the DVD was recorded from a 4K master, resulting in a stable, high-quality shot from start to finish, with virtually no obstructions. Furthermore, the audio is synchronized with the CD's multi-IEM matrix source, making the quality of the audio and other footage second to none, far superior to fragmented footage on YouTube. This was James Iha's first tour in Japan since his return, and while the excitement was intense everywhere else, the Budokan performance was a special highlight. From opening to closing, Billy led the band with the same energy as in their '90s heyday. While there were a few slower, more mellow tracks, including a cover of Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" around the halfway point, the rest of the set was full of medium-tempo blasts, with the audience headbanging wildly. This Japan-only commemorative item perfectly recreates a night at a live music venue in the '90s.
