SKID ROW in 1991 was in the midst of its heyday, sending "SLAVE TO THE GRIND" to No. 1 in the US. Two new titles from the "Stephane" collection, which allows you to experience the glorious scene at its finest, have been decided to be released simultaneously. This is the second of two simultaneous releases. It is a superb audience recording of the "December 19, 1991 Freiburg performance". SKID ROW did not leave an official live album from their heyday, but instead (?) the classic soundboard "SLAVE TO MANNHEIM" reigns as a major staple. However, even though this work is the same "1991 Germany", the time period is slightly different, so let's start by looking back at the overview of their activities at that time. 1991 May 24-June 10: North America #1a (11 shows) {SLAVE TO THE GRIND released June 11th} June 11-August 3: North America #1b (27 shows) August 13-September 6: Europe #1 (8 shows) ←※SLAVE TO MANNHEIM September 30-October 15: Japan #1 (11 shows) ←※FORCED TO CRACK November 11-December 19: Europe #2 (27 shows) ←★Here★ December 28-31: North America #2a (3 shows) 1992 January 9-June 22: North America #2b/South America #1 (85 shows) August 7-15: South America #2 (6 shows) August 22: MONSTERS OF ROCK 1992"《September 22nd "B-SIDE OURSELVES" released》・September 25th-October 10th: Japan #2/Asia and other (10 performances)←※BUDOKAN 1992・November 12th: Switzerland performance 1993・January 30th-February 6th: Oceania (3 performances)・June 13th: New York performance This is SKID ROW in its heyday. "SLAVE TO MANNHEIM" was "Europe #1" shortly after the album was released, but it was also a warm-up mini-tour. The Freiburg performance of this work was the main "Europe #2" that was realized after that. It was the 27th performance. It will be released at the same time as the sister work "GOPPINGEN 1991" of the same "Stephane" collection, but this work was also three performances after that. This work, which conveys such a show, is a super-direct sound of the super class. The sister work "GOPPINGEN 1991" also had a direct feeling like a soundboard, but this work has even more powerful mid-low tones. The drums that kick up the five organs and the bass that shakes the six viscera are 100% dense, and even if you listen to it with headphones, you can't feel the hall sound. It's not like a soundboard, but a "complete soundboard", and on the contrary, it's such a powerful sound that you wonder "Where is the audience in this?" It's delicate and beautiful. Even though it's so powerful, there is no vibration or muddiness at all, the outline is clearly cut, and the sense of separation is tremendous. Even if the whole band attacks aggressively, every word of the vocals stands out clearly. It is also an amazingly beautiful recording that does not become a mass even if the sounds overlap. I think that even if it was made into an official CD as it is, it would not be obvious that it is an audience recording. In addition to such a super-class transcendent sound, this work is also a powerful long-length powerful full set. The song selection is different from the iconic soundboard "SLAVE TO MANNHEIM" and the sister work "GOPPINGEN 1991", so let's compare them together. Slave to the Grind (7 songs) Slave To The Grind / Psycho Love / Quicksand Jesus (★) / Get The Fuck Out / Monkey Business / Riot Act / The Threat (★★) Others (9 songs) Skid Row: Big Guns / Here I Am (★) / 18 And Life / Piece Of Me / Tornado / Mudkicker (★) / I Remember You / Youth Gone Wild Other covers: Psycho Therapy (★: RAMONES) / The Train Kept A-Rollin' (★★: Tiny Bradshaw) *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that were not heard on the masterpiece "SLAVE TO MANNHEIM". In particular, the "★★" mark indicates songs that were not heard on the sister work "GOPPINGEN 1991". ... and so on. "SLAVE TO MANNHEIM" is about 53 minutes even with a powerful sound board. "GOPPINGEN 1991" is about 74 minutes even though it is a full show, and both were single discs. In contrast, this work is a two-disc set of over 80 minutes. The best is "The Train Kept A-Rollin'". It is a classic song by Tiny Bradshaw that is a rock standard (Buzz introduces it as an AEROSMITH song!), but here the members of L.A. GUNS, who were the opening act, also appear. They will give you a super luxurious collaboration. The volume of the two-disc set, the sound that cannot find the audience element, and the luxurious collaboration. It is a must-listen and must-have from start to finish, and it is a new masterpiece that I would like to recommend to "King of SLAVE TO THE GRIND Tour". Although it is a "Stephane" collection that boasts an amazing recording rate, it is an absolute masterpiece of the best masterpiece class among them. A superb audience recording of the "December 19, 1991 Freiburg performance". This is a masterpiece digitized from the original master of the popular master "Stephane", and is a super soundboard-class recording with no audience elements at all. The full recording of over 80 minutes is also overwhelming, and "The Train Kept A-Rollin'" also features a luxurious collaboration with the members of L.A. GUNS. This is an absolute new masterpiece that we would like to recommend to the "King of the Prime SLAVE TO THE GRIND Tour".
