A treasured recording of a September 1979 Southampton performance just after the release of the second album "JOIN HANDS" has arrived! On September 28, 1979, just after the release of the second album "JOIN HANDS" released about 10 months after the debut album, England. A treasured recording of a live performance at the Gaumont Seattle, a theater with a capacity of about 2,300 people located in Southampton, has arrived! It has been digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, and although it was recorded in stereo on the master, the recording condition of one channel was poor, so the better channel was recorded in two. Although it is mono, it is recorded with a good balance including vocals and a stable and clear sound quality. After a warm-up gig in Ireland, guitarist John Mackay and drummer Kenny Morris left the band, and the band suddenly canceled the five shows scheduled for the day after the release of "JOIN HANDS." Instead, the band went ahead with the tenth show, with Robert Smith on guitar and Budgie on drums. The set list featured six songs from "JOIN HANDS," including the opening number "Poppy Day," and a short version of "The Lord's Prayer." While featuring numbers from the debut album, the show filled the floor with the same heavy, dark atmosphere as "JOIN HANDS."
