Although S&G's reunion in 1993 is still etched in our memories as they were able to perform in Japan, it was a strange time in the duo's career. There is no release of sound sources or videos, and the active period is actually about three months. The main event was a performance at the Paramount Theater in October. Since it was a reunion show after a long time, a number of audience recording items that captured the Paramount Theater scene in 1993 were released. They are generally cuts of long parts of Paul's solo set, which just shows how much attention was paid to S & G's reunion. After wrapping up their time at the Paramount Theater in October, the duo performed at Neil Young's Bridge Benefit Concert in November. In the first place, the duo and Neil joined each other on stage at a benefit concert called "THE LOS ANGELES CHILDREN'S HEALTH PROJECT" in March, and it is speculated that Neil asked them to perform at that time. Bridge Benefit is basically played on acoustic instruments, so it was an opportunity for the duo, whose live performances had originally consisted of Paul's acoustic guitar, to show their true potential. The band at the Paramount Theater only included Steve Gadd, Craig Dargi, and a few wind instruments, and it was a big attraction that they went on stage with a minimum number of members. However, for the reunion in 1993, there were no sound board recordings or professional shot footage, and for the Paramount Theater there was only a video of an audience shot from an average angle, and for the bridge benefit, the venue screen was shot. There were only audience shots. Under such circumstances, Wolfgang's "MUSIC VAULT" account has released many professional shots of Bridge Benefit. Among them, the 1993 S&G stage was quietly shown to the public. Many people may not have known this fact. This is because this video was released under the account ``FOLK & COUNTRY'' rather than the account with the MV's artist name. Another reason may have been that it was released in 2014, after the Wolfgang excavation rush had ended. In any case, I can't believe you can now watch the 1993 S&G pro shot video. Although it is a short set of about 35 minutes, the many S&G classics played in an ensemble featuring Paul's acoustic guitar in the front are a must-see throughout. For "Bridge Over Troubled Water", the aforementioned Craig Dargi served as the accompaniment on the piano, and for "The Sound Of Silence", Paul exceptionally played the Stratocaster, but during the interlude, Paul was appearing at the same event. Eddie Van Halen appears and plays a solo. This strawberry daifuku-like collaboration (lol) can also be seen and heard through professional shot footage and soundboard recording. And since most of their repertoire was arranged in a key a semitone lower, it seemed like S&G was getting old at the time, but that was now 25 years ago, when both of them were in their 50s. Because of this, she still looks young! This is the most gorgeous item that includes professional shot footage that finally appeared after that short-term reunion.
