This release features a complete live performance by Maxis featuring Jerry Nolan, Arthur Cain, Steve Dior, and Mick Jones, including their second show! This excellent mono audience recording from a September 7, 1978, concert held at Maxis Kansas City in New York, following the breakup of the Sex Pistols, is now available in a complete and polished version! This live performance featured former New York Dolls drummer Jerry Nolan, bassist Arthur Cain, guitarist Steve Dior, and the Idles, plus Mick Jones of the Clash. The first set has previously been available on vinyl bootlegs. This release, including the second set, has been digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, ensuring excellent balance, including vocals, despite being mono. Any pitch discrepancies due to the master recording have been carefully corrected. There's a missing section in the intro to "Search & Destroy" from the second set, and a fade-out during the latter half of "Take A Chance With Me," likely due to a recording equipment malfunction, but the rest of the recording is complete. This was the final day of a three-day series at Maxxis Kansas City, and according to Arthur Cain, a crowd of 4,000 packed into a venue with a capacity of about 600. Mick Jones, who was in New York City mixing the Clash's second album, "The Beast," was also able to appear.
