The best live album of Scorpio Dan, who has returned for the first time in 9 years, is here! This work was recorded at “ZEPP DIVERCITY TOKYO performance on October 6, 2016”. The other day, it was a live performance that I reported the fastest at “ZEPP DIVERCITY 2016”, but this work is a completely different recording. In fact, it is the highest quality "TOKYO TAPES 2016" created by the master craftsman "Western Japan's Strongest Taper" on an expedition to the Kanto region. Before touching on the contents you are interested in, let's check the usual schedule. ・October 6, 2016: Zepp Diversity Tokyo [This work] ・October 8, 2016: Saitama Super Arena ・October 11, 2016: Osaka International Conference Center In this way, this performance in Japan will be “LOUD A total of 3 performances were held, centering on the birds from ``PARK 16''. This work is the audience album of the first day. The biggest point of this work is the superb sound. "ZEPP DIVERCITY 2016" is also an extremely clear recording that makes you think "it's just like IEMs," and received positive feedback from customers, such as, "You really have a skillful taper," and "You can't go any further than this." The sound is exactly the ideal audience recording. It boasts a clear and direct feel that is equal to or better than the gift version, and on top of that, you can enjoy the extremely rich deep bass. This is truly amazing, and you can even feel the floor and walls of the venue shaking. It seems that the recording position was in the front of the second floor seats, similar to the taper on the gift edition, but even though it was the same live performance and similar environment, it was possible to end up with such a different sound...It is a very profound recording method. For the sake of the honor of “ZEPP DIVERCITY 2016”, I would like to remind you that it was a truly amazing recording. However, when considering the musicality of SCORPIONS, the rich bass of this work becomes particularly useful. When it comes to Scorpion, Rudolf Schenker's sharp rhythm guitar and Klaus Meine's beautiful melodies are the lifeblood of the group, but there is more than just beautiful drama hidden in their famous songs. The bass of this work gradually brings out its dramaticism. Of course, if Rudolph's sharpness becomes even slightly cloudy, it will be ruined, but there is no need to worry about that in this work. Even though it's on the second floor, it slices up the drama of deep bass to a pleasant degree with a direct feel that can only be heard from zero distance. When you suddenly come back to your senses from the excitement of the sharpness, you are attacked by a profound emotion that leaves you breathless... This is a live album with such a balance. And Mickey Dee, formerly of MOTORHEAD, plays an active role as if he has a "heavy sound just for me." This time, it was the first time in nine years that Rudolf and Klaus, both 68 years old, were so energetic that I was stunned, but despite being a new member, it was Mickey who stole the spotlight in third place. His predecessor, James Kotak, was also a skilled power hitter, but Han, who maintained the stool of the "live demon" MOTORHEAD for 23 years, is still a different actor. Fiercely powerful, yet flexible. Anyone can simply make a powerful and stupid sound, but he expresses the "key points" of a song with each hit, bringing out a lot of drama and dynamism. If you think about it, MOTORHEAD's live performance was a simple, explosive rush of rock'n'roll, but it was strangely enough to never let you get bored. The heavy bass in this work clearly depicts not only its power but also the drama. And the cover of “Overkill” where its full power explodes… it’s amazing. Up until now, Rudolph had been the only member of Scorpion Beat, but after 50 years since its formation, they have finally gathered all the actors. I think it would be no exaggeration to call them a beat monster like AC/DC in their heyday. SCORPIONS has announced themselves as a "true live band" for the first time in nine years. It was a tremendous concert that made even those of the generation who don't know the real ages of Rudolph and Klaus say, "The real thing is amazing!" However, if you look back, they are both 68 years old. Considering the long gap between albums and their popularity in Japan, I wonder when they will come to Japan next, and will there really be a "next time"... It has been 38 years since the first visit to Japan, and it may be the last time we will be offering the best “TOKYO TAPES”.
