"Santana III" is a masterpiece album released in 1971, which includes "Jungle Strut" and "Toussaint L'Overture", which Prince also covered in "Sanatana Medley". At this time, Neal Schon, who was only 17 years old, joined the Santana band, which became a twin lead guitar formation, and Cork Escopedo, the younger brother of Sheila E.'s father, joined on percussion. The sound of the performance in Munich on April 20, 1971, when the sound had become thicker, was recorded directly from a soundboard recording of a Santana collector's treasured tape. The drums of Gregg Rolie, who later formed Journey with Schon, and Cork's rhythm have a strong Latin color, and this is the period when Prince's desire for Santana was most apparent. The set list is also the best selection of Santana's early songs, including "Soul Sacrifice", and it is without a doubt one of the best.
