The VAN HALEN number-packed tour "THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS Tour" is receiving rave reviews. The super video set is here. If you have read this article, you may have experienced the first video set "NORTH AMERICAN TOUR". The previous work also blew my mind with its super powerful quality that reigned at the highest peak of audience video, but this work actually went even further... You may be wondering "How will they surpass that?" because you have experienced the previous work, but it is true! I was so shocked that I suddenly started talking about the previous work "NORTH AMERICAN TOUR". For those who are not, let's start from scratch. There are two performances in the work. It is a two-disc set that includes the super audience shots of "July 27, 2024: Holmdel performance" and "August 2, 2024: Clarkston performance". Let's check the positional relationship of each performance on the schedule along with the previous work. North American leg: July 13th + 14th (2 shows) * July 16th: Alpharetta show ← * Previous DISC 1: July 19th: Charlotte show * July 20th: Bristow show ← * Previous DISC 2: July 22nd-26th (3 shows) * July 27th: Holmdel show ← ★ This work DISC 1: July 29th + 31st (2 shows) * August 2nd: Clarkston show ← ★ This work DISC 2: August 3rd-31st (16 shows) Japan leg: September 20th-23rd (3 shows) This is the overall picture of "THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS Tour" that has been announced so far. There are also regular solo shows, but they are omitted for clarity. The tour is structured as "North America = 28 shows / Japan = 3 shows", and the shows included in this work are the 9th and 12th shows of the "North American leg". DISC 1: Screenshots with a completely professional feel The main feature of this work is the ninth performance, "Holmdel footage (July 27th)". The individuality and amazingness of this video can be summed up in one word: "completely multi-camera professional shot class". It is a screen shot taken by the audience, and the scene is completely professional shot. There are pros and cons to say "screen shots", and if you shoot from an oblique seat, it will be distorted and difficult to see, and if you are greedy and take a direct shot, it will be unstable and reduce the sense of immersion. However, this work has no such mistakes or shortcomings. Although the shooting position is completely unknown, the screen is beautifully facing the camera, and there is no unnecessary movement of the viewpoint. It just continues to capture the professional image projected on the screen beautifully, and the edge of the screen is not reflected, so the sense of immersion is amazing. Although the sound has an audience-like feel, it is clear that it is an audience image, but the impression itself is already completely professional shot. We have handled many screen shots in our shop, but I don't remember any professional shots so far. DISC 2: Soundboard-class audio & stunning video After the superb video of the complete professional shot, any video is superfluous... but this work is too amazing because it doesn't become like that. The Clarkston video (August 2) instead has a superb view and super powerful sound. I would like you to try it with headphones, but this is already a complete soundboard class. No, really, the close contact with zero distance, the separation of each sound, the fine details, I can't think of it as an audience... or rather, I can't really throw away the possibility of a soundboard. Although I can't say for sure because I haven't received detailed data about the audio, the stability that doesn't move even in aggressive scenes with camera work, and the unusually small audience noise are a bit too much. If you are told that it was actually a soundboard or that it was an IEM-based matrix, you will be convinced without being surprised. It is that type of transcendent sound. And the scenery is also superb, not inferior to the intense sound, so you will be surprised twice. Although it is different from the professional shot feeling of DISC 1, each member is shot up with a direct shot without any obstruction. Although it is vivid, the super vivid image quality surpasses even screen shots. The two types of transcendent images depict the VAN HALEN paradise that is shaking the scene. Although it is basically based on the previous work "NORTH AMERICAN TOUR", it is not exactly the same, so let's organize the two performances together here. VAN HALEN (15 songs) 5150: Good Enough/5150/Summer Nights/Best Of Both Worlds/Why Can't This Be Love F@U#C%K: Poundcake/Runaround/Judgement Day/Top Of The World/Right Now Others from Sammy's era: The Seventh Seal/When It's Love Dave's era: Panama/Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love/Jump Others (7 songs + α) Solo: There's Only One Way To Rock/Eagles Fly/Mas Tequila/Heavy Metal/I Can't Drive 55 Others: Satch Boogie/Space Station #5 (Big Foot) [DISC 1]/Helter Skelter (Big Foot) [DISC 2] ... and so on. The change is the medley at the end of the set. The Holmdel footage (DISC 1) continues with "Space Station #5 → Big Foot" as before, but the Clarkston footage (DISC 2) has been replaced by "Helter Skelter → Big Foot". In fact, on this day (August 3rd in Japan time), AEROSMITH announced his retirement from touring. "Helter Skelter" is a memorable song from when Sammy and AEROSMITH performed together in 1974. In this work, you can also see the MC announcing AEROSMITH's retirement to the audience along with the background to that. Let me write it out, although it is a poor translation. "This is crazy news. A friend of mine who works with AEROSMITH came into my dressing room this afternoon and said, 'Today, AEROSMITH announced their retirement. They stopped. They stopped. God bless them.' It's horrible, horrible. We've lost a huge presence. We love them. We all grew up with them. Steven Tyler, the true greatest rock and roll singer of all time, said, 'I can't sing anymore. I'm quitting.' I want to pay my respects to that. It's an honor. It's a real honor. I'll do the same thing when I can't sing anymore." This is a super set of fully professional shot screen shots (DISC 1) and a superb video (DISC 2) that makes full use of the sound of a soundboard. A two-disc set of unexpected monster videos that even surpassed the previous work "NORTH AMERICAN TOUR" that surprised us with its front row and superb view shots. A two-disc set of superb audience shots from the "July 27, 2024 Holmdel performance/August 2, 2024 Clarkston performance". The Holmdel footage (DISC 1) is a screen shot, and the sense of immersion without stability or screen edges is a completely professional shot. On the other hand, the Clarkston footage (DISC 2) has a superb view without any obstructions, as well as a completely soundboard-class sound. The latter is the day of AEROSMITH's retirement, and you can experience the heart-warming MC who conveys the news to the audience, and "Helter Skelter", which is full of memories of performing with them, in superb quality.
