This time we will be introducing the British version of Through the Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2) released in September 1969. As many of you may know, Through the Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2) is a US version, so I think this item will be a nice reprint. This album was released shortly after Brian's death, so it has been known for many years as a memorial work. It will also be the second best-of album in the UK and US. As I explained earlier, the songs recorded are different in the UK and the US, and the order of the songs has changed significantly. In the English version, You Better Move On was included in the EP and released in 1964, and Sittin' On A. Fence is included along with bit songs. In addition, Jumpin' Jack Flash, which opened at the historic Havana performance, is included in the first song. The disc used this time was not an open decker disc with a modified octagonal jacket, but a box decker disc from the 1970s that was in stable pressing condition (it was a stereo disc version). Among the many Stones compilations released in the 1960s, this work and Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) are the only ones that can be said to be the best originals.
