The Warsaw performance was the final day of this year's "NO FILTER" European tour. Since it was the final day, the items were expected to appear as soon as possible, but the first two types of audience recordings were stereo with a distant sound image in mono, which is not easy to deal with. Even when this site was announced, I couldn't help but write "mono (seriously)", and the recording quality, which is not like 2018, was made to smile bitterly, as the sound was far away in stereo and a fight started. But sorry for the wait! Finally, an audience recording that captures the tour finale in Warsaw in high quality will appear. Moreover, it is not something that appeared on the Internet, but an audience recording obtained from a unique network for this release. We were provided with a recording that an overseas maniac went to the Warsaw performance and performed for the release. After all, the audience recording that appeared on the Internet immediately after the performance was in such a state, and since then there has been no sign of an upper version, and combined with the local character of Warsaw, it was thought that it would be forgotten as it is, but it was provided like a blessing from heaven. As for the sound quality of the sound source this time, it is really wonderful. Even in the same "NO FILTER" European tour last year, the best sound source seemed to be concentrated in the early part of the tour, but in this case, the best audience recordings began to appear from the latter half of the tour, and the result was Berlin and Prague. The sound source this time is a sound quality that strangely mediates between them. In other words, it is not as on-the-ground as Prague, but it has a bolder texture than Berlin. Perhaps because the position of the taper was not immediately decided, the sound image is slightly unstable in the first two songs. However, after "Tumbling Dice" you can enjoy it with excellent sound quality. Although the recording itself has a good balance of sound image, it is generally muffled (although not muffled), and by applying equalization to it, the clarity is improved at once, and the sound is more solid, resulting in an upper version. Since the recording has excellent original characteristics, this processing has made it a release that will be enjoyed by a wide range of people from beginners to enthusiasts. And since it was the last day of the tour, the Stones' performance was the best, and it was wonderful to hear a tight performance from each person while enjoying it. You can see this in the wonderful angle video on the DVD that came with the previous release, but it is still wonderful to listen to it with such a good sound quality recording. From the opening, you can hear the powerful performance of the band as one. It has been proven by previous releases that the performance in the second half of the tour, such as Marseille and Prague, was fulfilling, but it is even more amazing when it comes to the final day. Perhaps because of this, Mick's momentum was left over, and in "Bitch", he got confused by the lyrics wrong, but the band continued to play without being confused, and Mick was able to return to his original state. The performance after that was simply powerful, and when Mick hummed Robert Johnson's "Come On In My Kitchen," which became a regular feature of "Midnight Rambler," Keith immediately returned the phrase, creating an exquisite intertwining. Since the middle of the tour, it was a song that I really looked forward to playing every night. In addition, in this recording, the nearby audience counted "1, 2, 3" at the exact timing of the start of the song, and it sounded as if the Stones started playing at his signal, which is a fun scene unique to audience recordings. As for the incident where Mick's microphone went out of order at the start of "Sympathy For The Devil," please check the DVD, but it was a day when a performance worthy of decorating the final day of the tour was heard. And yet, there were many enthusiasts in Warsaw who were disappointed at the beginning because only sound sources that made them wonder, "Is this the sound of 2018?" are appearing. A uniquely obtained, superb quality audience recording CD that will relieve such stress is finally here.
