The Stones are performing at New York's Madison Square Garden for six consecutive days from June 22nd to June 27th, the middle of a two-week North American tour. Each day of the performance is documented in the following releases. 22nd performance “Sympathy For Slowhand” 2CD (w/ERIC CLAPTON) 23rd performance “Cherry Oh Baby” 2CD 24th performance “I Can Sing Lady Jane” 2CD 25th performance “Wizards from New York” 2CD 26th performance “Welcome Back to New York'' 1CD 27th performance ``Hold On Tight'' 3CD The 26th performance to be released this time is the high quality sound source of the latter half of ``Welcome Back to New York'' (VGP-039), which is currently difficult to obtain. This is a compilation of all the songs, mainly source 2 and source 3, which were not available to traders at the time of the VGP release. Source 1 used on the VGP board was originally B. Source 2 contains only the second half excluding Preston's songs, and the sound quality is not very good, but includes Preston's two songs and the entirety, and Source 3 contains most of Preston's songs except for the two songs, although it is recorded in monaural. There are three separate sound sources (both of which have now been released as individual CDs). Source 3 used in the first half of this work is also of better quality than average for a venue recording in 1975, and firmly reproduces the parts that were not covered on the VGP edition. The high-quality sound source in the second half has also been retransferred from the original tape for the first time in a while, and I am once again surprised by its high quality. At one time, it was rumored to be a mirrored sound source due to its sound quality, but the real sound source is from a different taper. However, it is presumed that the equipment recorded was of a grade quite similar to that of Millard. It was the fifth day of the series of performances, so all the members were still young, in their 30s, but it was an irregular set, with two songs from MSG's basic set list, Wild Su and the encore song ``Sympathy for the Devil,'' forbidden. It is configured. In contrast to the stage in LA, which was officially recorded and released, the MSG performance unfortunately has not seen the light of day, but in this work, the performance on the 5th day is as high as possible. Reproduced with high quality. The energetic performance that didn't show any fatigue was really attractive as in LA in the latter half of the tour.
