The Stones' "DESERT TRIP 2016" record has been a hot topic, but the next latest video has arrived. This work was filmed at the "Las Vegas performance on October 22, 2016". The Stones did a mini tour centered on "DESERT TRIP 2016", and this is one of those scenes. First, let's check the position on the schedule. ・October 3: Las Vegas (warm-up) ・October 7: DESERT TRIP 2016 ・October 14: DESERT TRIP 2016 ・October 19: Las Vegas (cancelled) ・October 22: Las Vegas [this work] ・October 25: Foxboro (private party) A total of six performances were planned, and five performances were realized except for "October 22", which was canceled due to Mick's pharyngitis. The first gig, "October 3, Las Vegas" and the last gig, "October 25, Foxboro", were short gigs, so this work's "October 22, Las Vegas" is one of the three full shows along with "DESERT TRIP 2016". This work, which contains such a concert, is a collection of multi-camera footage, which is also familiar from "DESERT TRIP 2016". This is the final work in a trilogy with the same concept as the recently released "DESERT TRIP 2016 WEEKEND 1: COMPLETE THE VIDEO" and the simultaneously released "DESERT TRIP 2016 WEEKEND 2: THE VIDEO" this week. The concept is to "carefully select all the footage that has appeared so far and reproduce the full show as much as possible". Although the concept is unified, the quality is a little different from the previous two works of "DESERT TRIP 2016". To put it bluntly, there are many distant shots with a slightly poor image quality. There are two possible reasons for this. First of all, the show was held after "DESERT TRIP 2016", so the footage has not been fully excavated. Secondly, since it was a regular concert, there is not as much footage as the mega festival "DESERT TRIP 2016" that attracted attention from all over the world. If you have read this far, you may think, "Is it shabby...?", but that is not the case. It is true that this work does not have as many angles as the previous two works of "DESERT TRIP 2016", but instead, the best shots are strangely wonderful. In other words, it is like a student who takes the top of the grade in only one subject, even if it is average in the five subjects overall. The best angle is the angle looking up at Mick from the right side of the runway. The close-up is abnormal, and Mick's upper body is neatly placed in the center, and even with intense action, it continues to follow smoothly and does not shake at all. Unless it is Ronnie or Keith's guitar solo, Mick is thoroughly reflected. Moreover, it is not just "close" and "stable", but the composition of the entire screen is also superb. If Mick, Keith, and Ronnie approach the drum kit, a magnificent golden ratio is decided, just like a poster photo. The scene is not "like a pro shot", but is surprising as "isn't this a pro shot!?" It is a super-excellent angle that is probably the best even including the two days of "DESERT TRIP 2016". Because it is so outstanding, I can't help but think "Isn't the full show only the best angle!", but it may have become monotonous after all. That's why the highlights captured at other angles are cool, and it makes you feel the scale and atmosphere of the site in real life. The taste unique to multi-camera is also firmly engraved. Following the two performances of "DESERT TRIP 2016", which has already become legendary, this is the one that completes the full show trilogy. Despite Mick's illness, the "Serious Stones" changed their set significantly every other week. This is a masterpiece video that also gives you plenty of glimpses of Keith, who takes the lead vocals on three songs, which is more than usual, as if he is concerned about Mick.
