WOLFGANG’S VAULT and CONCERT VAULT distributed a large amount of multi-track soundboard recordings recorded for radio broadcasts of the Rolling Stones 1981 tour nearly 10 years ago. One of them was the ``TEMPE 1981,'' which was newly overhauled this year and is now a bestseller, and the Pontiac Silverdome was the forerunner of the 81 multitrack group. It is a large venue that the state of Michigan is proud of, and the Stones have used it in 1978. During the 1981 tour, two performances were held at the same venue, and both were recorded as multi-tracks for radio broadcasting. These are full-length soundboards recorded for radio, and the sound quality is excellent, so as soon as they were published on the site in 2007, items were created in an instant, and on this day, our store also released "DETROIT 1981". Thing. That's why when you listen to it today, the squishy texture of the compressed distribution from 2007 is harsh, and you can't deny that the sound quality feels dated...after all, it's an item from 14 years ago. Rather, we've been waiting for a version that has been overhauled with the latest technology, even more so than the series of 81 multitracks delivered 10 years ago. However, unexpected obstacles stand in the way of these enthusiasts' wishes. It is no exaggeration to say that CONCERT VAULT has been all the rage in the rare sound source world for the past 10 years, but the distribution scale has now been reduced. Although the released sound source is the same as before, the recording time has been shortened. In other words, it is being distributed in an incomplete state. Graff Zeppelin came to the rescue in such a situation. In 2016, before the site fell into the current situation, it captured the broadcast of the first day of Silver Dome. That alone promises sound quality that is incomparable to 2007, but above all, the compressed feeling peculiar to MP3 has been completely wiped out. For example, it is obvious around “Let It Bleed” where Mick played the acoustic guitar, and this alone boasts an overwhelming upper feeling. Of course, there is no noise that occurred in 2007. On top of that, Graff Zeppelin underwent a careful overhaul. And speaking of the multi-track sound source on the first day of Silver Dome, there was a problem with the missing songs “Waiting On A Friend” and “Start Me Up”, but as before, this time as well, this time too, they were available before the appearance of multi-tracks. Compensated with monaural PA out soundboard recording. But that's not all. As a result of going back to the original sound source and overhauling this monaural SBD part, the crunchy hardness that was present in 2007 has been wiped out, and the sound quality has been upgraded to one that celebrates the depth typical of monaural. Especially when listening to Charlie's bass drum, the upper feeling is clearly evident. Also, the two days at the Silver Dome were recorded for radio broadcasting, and while the high voltage that was typical of the final stages of the tour was maintained, it is also famous among enthusiasts as a day where you could see some chaotic scenes. And I think the appeal is that you can now enjoy it even more with multi-track stereo (lol). Even in “Shattered”, which should have been sung to that extent, Mick made a mistake in the composition, and as a result, there are very different scenes. What's more, when ``Jumping Jack Flash'', which was supposed to be the finale to end the main part of the live show, got excited, Keith misplayed the riff that he had been playing many times and almost lost his temper, and above all, at the end, Charlie seemed to be playing like a hand. It was as if I had slipped and dropped the stick. Of course, the overall performance is full of energy, but performances like these would never be accepted for broadcast (bitter smile). Of course, there are such slapstick scenes, but since it is basically a rough mix, there are also scenes that are different from the usual, such as when "When The Whip Comes Down" starts and Mick's strummed rhythm guitar can be heard loudly. Following the highly popular "TEMPE 1981", the first day of 81 multi-track Silver Dome, which many enthusiasts have been waiting for to be re-released, has been wonderfully reborn by Graff Zeppelin! REMASTERED BY GRAF ZEPPELIN (Remastered Memo) The main sound source is a sound source that has a solid frequency up to nearly 20kHz (downloaded in 2016), and it is clearly more surreal than the previous release in 2007 (which drops sharply from around 15kHz). The MP3 feeling has clearly diminished and you can watch it without any problems. (You can tell the difference just by listening to the acoustic guitar sound on the left channel of the intro.) I judged that the pitch was correct (the tuning of the guitar was probably not correct for each string), and the compensation was from the mono sound source of the PA line. Regarding the supplementary sound source, the surreal digital smell has diminished compared to the previous edition, and you can now feel the depth. (*In the previous edition, the mono sound source also wavered around 18kHz) Without a doubt, this is the best Pontiac 1981 first day soundboard ever! !
