If the upper version of “PONTIAC 1981 1ST NIGHT” is released, this time it will naturally be released on the second day of Silver Dome. This is also a radio multi-track recording released by WOLFGANG'S VAULT in 2007, and many items were created due to its outstanding sound quality. However, like ``1ST NIGHT'', it is a sound source that was distributed using the technology at the time of 2007, so not only now, but even in 2007, I was interested in the sound quality that was similar to that of an mp3 at the time. Still, since it was a genuine stereo sound board, enthusiasts were grateful to listen to it. However, when WOLFGANG'S VAULT changed its site name to CONCERT VAULT, the sound quality improved dramatically. Originally, a new upper version should have been released at that time, but it was buried in the shock of the multi-track sound source release of the Stones 1981 tour that was realized at the same time. What's more, CONCERT VAULT, which was once available for listening to the sound source, has been scaled back, and now the sound source is also a short version. Fortunately, just like the previous PONTIAC 1981 1ST NIGHT, Graf Zeppelin was able to capture the full version of the second day's broadcast before the site was downsized. Therefore, this renewal release has been made, and the compressed sound quality that I mentioned at the beginning has been greatly improved this time as well. This point alone guarantees the quality of the sound that makes you feel that it is an "upper version" without any complaints. Even in 2007, that sense of discomfort was considerable, so it is special to finally be able to listen to the broadcast outtakes of the multi-track sound source in a clean state without swooshing. However, the sound source released in CONCERT VAULT was missing “Beast Of Burden” and three songs at the end of the live performance, but three of them were compensated with monaural PA out sound board recordings this time as well. Of course, they are not only used for supplementary purposes, but for this release, we have gone back and adjusted the sound source, eliminating the crunchy hardness that was present in the items from 2007. It has been recorded with a reborn sound quality that is more monaural. However, this time only "Jumping Jack Flash" does not use a PA out sound source, but instead uses a stereo sound source that is used in actual radio. This allows you to enjoy the same song in multi-track stereo sound quality. Of course, this is a take that was broadcast on the radio, so various items have been released in the past, but this time, "SUPERGROUPS IN CONCERT 1982" was very popular because it was carefully recorded from the master recording for broadcasting. We adopted this version from the previous version, and made sure to record it with the highest sound quality and to ensure that it was edited in the best way possible. In this way, not only the sound quality of the main story has been significantly improved, but also the content has been improved by supplementing "Jumping Jack Flash" with a different sound source selection than in 2007. On this day, there weren't as many slapstick scenes as on the first day's "PONTIAC 1981 1ST NIGHT," and the first half of the live performance was energetic but calm, and it was worth it, as there were eight takes of the songs and a band introduction. The scene has been given the honor of being featured in a radio broadcast. However, it's the Rolling Stones. In "Let It Bleed", which is the biggest incident of the day, perhaps Charlie's monitor also became strange, and his drums did not come in until the first chorus. However, this is interesting because it sounds like a special arrangement rather than a credit to the injury. In that respect, the incident in "Tumbling Dice" where Charlie is no longer engaged is a more shocking scene, but in addition to that, there is also an incident where the two guitars stop making sound at the end of the performance, which is also a problem in terms of acoustics. It is speculated that there may have been. In order to make up for this incident, the voltage of the performance increased after "Hang Fire". Even compared to the previous day, the difference was obvious, and “Miss You” was a pretty hot performance. Despite this, it was not adopted for radio, so it is all the more valuable to be able to enjoy it here with the highest sound quality. “Jumping Jack Flash”, which was supplemented by the radio version, had such a rough performance the day before, so the well-honed performance here stands out even more, and it makes sense that it was adopted on the radio. Above all, the 1981 radio broadcast outtake, which was long awaited for an overhaul along with the previous day, has finally decided to release a reborn version! (Remastered memo) ★The main sound source is a sound source that has a solid frequency near 20kHz (downloaded in 2016), and it is noticeably less surreal and easier to listen to than the previous release (which drops sharply from around 15kHz). . ★Compensate for missing 4 songs like last time Mono SB (3 songs this time) has some band adjustment. By the way, Mono SB is quite shaky on related records such as Satisfaction, but this time there was no such discomfort. While referring to the previously released records, this time I adjusted the EQ to the extent that I didn't overdo it. FM stereo's Jumping Jack Flash is different from previous releases, this time from "Supergroups In Concert 1982". The Aud at the end of Satisfaction has also been adjusted slightly. ★About compensation processing This time, compensation will be done in a real time series manner as much as possible. As a result, there are some parts where the audio changes are somewhat abrupt compared to previous episodes. However, in the previous version, there was a chronological inconsistency in the editing, and in "Beast Of Burden", instead of the previous version, where the cheers between different songs were drawn as they were in the cross section and crossed so that it did not feel strange, the beginning of the performance ( There was also a thumping noise between songs that was actually unrelated to the performance. Also, because the position of the crossfade is slightly off, Mick's a, a, aaan around TIME IS ON MY SIDE 4:11 sounds like a skip and a dub, and after playing "Beast Of Burden" I can hear Moko's a, a, a again. ★The interval between songs from "Brown Sugar" to "Start Me Up" is about 0.3 seconds shorter in this version than in the previous version, which is correct. ★The return to the mono line sound source is quick at around 9:14 immediately after "Jumping Jack Flash" (stereo FM) plays (in other words, the stereo part is short), but the stereo sound source actually includes a song immediately after Mick's MC "Thank You Very Match". Because there was a cut in the movie, I had no choice but to switch to the mono version early. In other words, in the previous edition, the stereo sound source part was long, but there was a gap of about 1 second between songs (including Mick's MC).
